Been excellent for Hull this year, I would certainly keep him. But rumours that his contract offer was pulled after the ban (which seems a bit harsh if true). Would be a very good signing for a year in SL and if you do go down would take the mick in the championship.

I wouldn't say Griffin is anywhere near past his best in fact he's playing as good as I've seen him. He still has the regular brain fart but his form this season has been pretty good. I really enjoyed cheering him on at Magic where he was outstanding in Hull's win over Wire.
Don't think we should sign him though.

There are plenty of things I don't like about the bloke, but he is a big powerful player.
Quite honestly all I care about is staying up and if he could help us do that, then why not sign him.

Too slow for centre now, but moving to the backrow has given him a new lease of life.

Helps having the likes of Clifford and Trueman good ball, think most Hull fans would keep him, but probably on a reduced and only a year and he might be after more.

We have got slow centre at present why get one more

Maybe because he doesn't play centre anymore, have you watched him this season.

For Fifita, it's as much as what he brings off the field as on it.

Still looks as good if not better than most of our forwards . Is run set the drop goal

I've watched him a fair bit too. He looks good in the second row. Would be a good option to replace Ashurst (No idea if he's off contract)

Playing for a better team and one of the top coaches in S L .We got players who would look better at Hull . Good teams can 20\30% extra out of any player because of the Coach

Disagree with most. Can still perform in Superleague and if contract was for championship also would be a real asset as regards coming straight back up.
Don't get the age thing. Look at other sports and the thirty somethings still have a lot to offer. Seems ok for others in Superleague to have the Roby, Farrell, LM S etc, etc, but not us.

I agree with the age thing to a certain aspect, a lot of high calibre players playing well into their mid 30’s in both hemispheres. We do have an ageing second row though obviously. Griffin has been really good this year but how many +32 second rowers do we need.

I bet there are more players Wakefield Trinity made better than worse.

When I've seen Hull this season Griffin has been one of their best players.We need to put the idea of building a younger squad on the back burner for a while and concentrate on staying up,or failing that, coming straight back up! He has about 6 possible games left after his ban,so sign him up for that and next season.If we get our new owner and there is money to spend why not?

I'd certainly take him for the end of the season. With Kelepi out it gives us another attacking threat from second row.
He certainly busts tackles.

If it was gor next season as well then the risk is that we have quite an old back three.

Next year we have Pitts and Kalepi signed up for second row. Kalepi isn’t that old tbf. Griffin would be good till end of this season. Would give him the chance to put himself in shop window although the way Pitts and Ashurst are playing these past few games I wouldn’t drop either of them.

Guess we will see how this pans out. Who ever plays though I’ll back them.
