NGB4C did you go to the game today. You are a complete idiot. Yes he didnt reach touch but to say he should be dropped for that is ridiculous. What about dropping Kyle Amor for dropping the ball on the first tackle when we had just got a penalty? Brett hodgson and Stefan Ratchford both kicked out on the full from KO, so you think the fans will be baying for them to be dropped, you tit. What about our ability to miss one on one tackles in the middle of the park which led to walk in tries?

Problem today is the same we see week in week out, BRAIN FART moments. Cut out the mistakes and we are a dangerous side but we seem to ship the ball every single week. Sick of us having to say we have put up a good performance but just came up short. We need 2 pts quickly or our season will fizzle out.

Anyway back on topic, Sykes scored a scorcher of a try that needed brains, pace, skill and nerves to finish.

As soon as he kicked that ball you could see the wind was going to blow it back into play. That said he should have gone for safety, not distance.

Last two games aiton has stepped up a level in attack and is causing opposition defences problems. Long may it continue.

As for Sykes, I wud prefer him at full back and lee smith at stand off

Annoying part is he does go for safety on every other kick! He picked the wrong one to chance his arm to!

Most pleasing part of the day for me, i have criticsed Aiton's attacking play in the past but today he stood out.

Now with Richie Mathers out is Sykes the new hate figure . We can not give top sides a start before we start to play.

There was two cock ups from Sykes, the shocker of a pass into touch when a try was certain and the missed kick to touch. Apart from that he probably was the most threatening he's been all season. Aiton was non-stop, although his passing from dummy half isn't the best his running game was good.

The worry for me is the forwards. Amor, Washbrook & Raleigh look way below par, Wilkes is average and is it my imagination or is Kirmond carrying a little extra timber this year? Annaklin and Lauitiiti apart out forwards lack punch and are getting easily dominated. The need to up their game sharpish.

Certainly Raleigh needs more game time. Coming back from injury and only getting 13 first half minutes isn't helping his cause.

Washy has padding on his right Kidney area. He whinced at one point and moved his hand over it - so I guess it was hurting at times. Not sure how long he has had that injury!

I'd guess its because Frankie has had his opportunities but always seems to get a knock to the head when the going get tough. Funny that....

That kick was a killer - I was on the top floor of the flats and the wind was very gusty up there; as soon as he skied it you could see the wind grab it and change the trajectory of the ball quite dramatically.

He was one of the biggest threats on the pitch today - made a couple of dodgy passes, but isn't one of the players I'd be singling out for much criticism.

The last try by wire in the first half seemed forward. Certainly the players complained. If that was chalked off, who knows.

I didn't really get what happened after they knocked on and then went on to score in the first half either.

Ref deemed that the ball had been reefed from Westwood in a "one on one"; correct call from where I was stood.

Frustrating kick by Sykes as i was in the old hospitality boxes. Kick looked good until it got over the top of the boxes. If he had kicked it low and flat it would have made touch. My concern was that at 22-24 behind, we had a spell of good pressure in Wires 20 but weren't patient enough to get the score. Which for me led to two quick easy tries for Warrington. As for OP, Sykes can't win, kicks 5 yards, he's rubbish, goes for longer when we are behind, still rubbish.Think he needs to give his head a shake!
