I am not a member of the BAME community so don’t know how they are treated but many of you appear to be quite happy to ridicule their movement. I note you obviously hold the white lives matter movement to a lower standard because you do not ridicule their demonstration at the Churchill’s statue giving the nazi salute or urinating against a plaque for a fallen police officer.

I can't let that stand without saying I am not as you describe there. I can't speak for everyone but I haven't seen anyone ridiculing BLM.
What has been pointed out is that aggressive violent protests and damaging public property is unlawful no matter which side you are on.

Either be specific to a post or don't make the accusation. Don't include 'many' in a post like that.

I've said higher up what my views are but I am currently working with friends and colleagues at work to help myself understand what BLM is all about and what White Privilidge is.
It bugs me that some have latched on to a trend to either be pro something they don't care about or against it just for anarchy sake.
But either way it's an important subject and it appears to be drawing notice finally.

It only takes one person to plant and grow a dangerous idea. That’s one of the reasons we have a democracy, if the majority of voters don’t like the idea, then the idea becomes withered.

But its gone from the movement having dangerous ambitions to one guys idea.

He is pretty badly trying to support his cause by ignoring anything that went wrong and blaming the police for everything. Can't see that getting much support. He even says it himself.
The defunding of the police is something started in the US by people upset by the treatment they receive. I understand it but it's never going to happen, mainly because it's a ridiculous idea.

Garry McFarlane is apparently speaking for the BLM, was there anything in that interview he said, that you could agree with. He denied BLM assaults on the police, attacks on statues and the Cenotaph. He wants to defund the police and let the community police the streets. Blames inequality for black on black knife killing, legalise all drugs, He wants to introduce a 1917 style Russian revolution (that went well for the people didn’t it) he doesn’t see himself as British, he says he’s an Internationalist, whatever that is. There’s lot’s of other weird stuff I’ve left out. My opinion is, there is plenty of evidence on that video to suggest the people in that group are dangerous.
As for links to YouTube, I’m aware of AUP, therefore I’ve not put any onto this forum. Is it against AUP rules, to suggest people look for a topic on YouTube themselves.

Legalising drugs wouldn't be too bad a thing if you could regulate them and tax them. It'd be quite a good earner for the treasury. Look at fags and booze. The quality would also improve as you'd get less people cutting the stuff with cleaning products! Might also see less hospital admissions and deaths.

How many people have died and are still dying from the effect of fags and booze, these two problems alone, cost the NHS millions of pounds a year, legalise drugs, flood the streets with them, you may well overwhelm the NHS, more than the current pandemic. As for contraband booze and fags, much of this is contaminated and causes deaths, same would happen with drugs, plenty have already died from contaminated drugs. So, Alcohol and Tobacco are legal, but that doesn’t stop counterfeiting, same would apply to drugs.

You can legalise drugs as much as you can but it’s what the dregs do to obtain these. Robbing, mugging GBH, these so called people will never change trust me I see these sort every day.

I actually agree with what you say, the problem with people with extreme views have ideas which can be dangerous, but that’s no difference if there left wing or right wing views. Would you agree that the likes of Tommy Robinson and the BNP also hold views which are dangerous ?

Legalising drugs would be a disaster unless legalised world wide. Cocaine for instance how many murders and how much misery do you think it causes from growth to the streets of Europe and how much corruption does it drive?
Heroin from the regions of Afghanistan and beyond tell me what the cost has has been for our country both in military lives and the streets of thew UK driving crime etc.

Synthetic drugs made to look like legit pills and hook young kids fueling the criminal economy driving money laundering etc.

Legalisation for an end user its been covered on here just like fags and booze those that couldnt give a toss for human life would still expose it for profit putting people at risk. If the the people here doing drugs espewcially coke that thinks its OK then think wider at what you are driving double standards if you call it recreational just think what it has cost in human misery as you snort a line!

It would have to be legalised worldwide, fully regulated, controlled, taxed, and almost become an economy itself. It's pie in the sky stuff, really. But it might eradicate some of the issues we currently have with crime, murder, slavery, smuggling etc.

Interesting that their leader, who denied the presence of the virus and massively underplayed its effects, is now presiding over a huge number of cases and deaths and they look certain to take an unwanted position at as the worst affected nation on the planet and we're still waiting for India and parts of Africa to "catch up".

I’ve just seen that the film Mary Poppins is to be banned because the Chimney sweep chap ( Dick van Dyke) has soot on his face. He’s a chimney seep for gods sake, are all films and photographs of miners to be burned in the streets along with with all the books, Paul Robeson in the 1941 film “How green was my valley “ no one complained because he had a black face, and what about poor old Sooty and Sweep, Harry Corbett would have been strung up from the chimney by the BLM before now. And talking about our own BLM, if he came out of the mines now with coal dust on his face, the other BLM would be waiting for him with torches and Pitchforks.
