We have differing opinions on many aspects which is fair enough , but I think your summary is about right on this one. I would also add that as far back as I can recollect players form seems to drop when they have a benefit year

I like both of them, they give all they have for the club BUT the fickle fans, as you rightly say have upgraded them for their own purpose to 'star' status, which they aren't.
I don't know, but assume both are OOC at the end of the season, in which case there's little we can do about it if they want to go.
In any event, personally even if we stay up (which we won't) I'd like to see a few more players leaving the club.

The very reason why BLM left this site alone is the constant berating of his son . I like Both Kershaw and Jordy and was hoping when MC alluded to offering a core set of players financial stability going forwards in the form of a duel contract that these two along with max would be the first names on the sheet to both stabilise and move forwards as a club

Based on what Carter said and the published list of yet to be determined, I think we've offered contracts to Jowitt, Lino and Bowes.
The rest are being worked through but they can also discuss elsewhere if they want to.

Your first paragraph nicely describes 2 of our overseas players, l know who I'd want in the trenches with me when fighting for the clubs future or trying to get back up next season.

Personally looking at the out of contract list I would be aiming at Ben Reynolds. Seen him a few times this season and looks to have improved a lot since he was last here at wakey.

I’ve never been convinced by Lino and I’m still not. He’s a luxury to a team like ours. I also don’t think he’s good enough at SL level.

Think he is one of about 4 players that are good enough ,one as played one match ,IT is the rest of the squad that are not good enough

Bizarrely not okay for the other one who has suddenly reappeared when I was critical of his 'world class' played a dozen games for 50 clubs. You always speak highly of young players, generally that play for Huddersfield on both this and the other forum, yet don't see what JC offers this club. Effort and attitude alone, puts him in the top 3 currently here. And before that other moron turns up SP. Yes we know, at the moment that isn't difficult, blah blah.
Top and bottom of it is, players like JC is who we build this club around, if the board haven't even made an offer, then they deserve everything thrown at them!

No , but he wasn’t on here to listen to his son get all the abuse he got either . Have worked with BLM down the pit and he’s no shrinking violet believe me , but personal abuse hiding behind a false name is really big and tough . I’m sure BLM I is his sons biggest critic , but you have to draw the line when it gets personal . While I agree I must say I haven’t seen any abuse on here aimed at Crowther. Certainly not for his attitude and effort.

More the criticism has been of his game/ability as a player. Obviously if there’s been any personal abuse I may not have seen it and that’s wrong.

If I was a parent of a player I honestly don’t think I would be on a forum or want to read any social media that relates.

Thats not really called for avenger. I personally stay clear of criticism of players, they pull the shirt on, put their bodies on the line and have reached a level that I could only dream of during my youth playing days.
I know it's shooting season at the moment but he remains blm son and for me gave his all on the field.
However criticism aimed at non active chairmen and ceos is fine in my book,

I’ve never spoken harshly about Jordan, I’ve justifiably criticised certain incidences when the evidence has been clear to see but it’s never been personal or out of order. I’ll take an average player who puts his heart and soul into a game over a talented player who can’t be d everytime
My point is that all players have families and they’ve always had to sit in a stand with someone being overly critical and accept that it’s part and parcel of it all, good and bad. You can’t just lap up the compliments and take your bat and ball home when you hear something critical.

There is nothing wrong with criticising a players performance, but it's nearly always pushed too far.

And another, my post was about family and friends of players understanding that players, even great players, get both praise and criticism. You can’t lap up the former and then whinge about the latter.
