McShane is up there as one of the best. I don't like him much but still rate him highly. The proof is simply the number of times he impacts the game in a positive way.

Hodgson is clearly a great player but can't always do it at International.
Clarke is unbelievable when he is on form but he has quiet games and his team management isn't as good as the other two.

I wouldn't mind McShane being in the England team at all.

Mcshane has been built up by sky as a class player because he can dink a ball into the in goal when Cas are down on the opponents line and one of his teams mates can pounce on it, he is a decent SL player and that is about it, playing in a good attacking side that suits his style of play.
