The whole "pandemic is corrupt" line though is just laughable.
People are dying in every nation on the planet, regardless of colour, creed, ethnicity and more importantly, the situation is similar the world over.
Now, for cries of corruption, you need to know where the winners and loser are in this so, tell me who wins in a world wide "corruption scandal".
The usual enemies are East (China/Russia) vs West (America/Europe) but, I dont see either of these "sides" being in a stronger position than the other.

Wow! I agree that there are some who spend money on non essentials that would be better spent elsewhere, but to make a sweeping generalisation like that is ill thought out and wrong. Some kids out there are doing without and not because of the fault of their parents. How many people have been made redundant or simply lost their jobs because of the present situation? what you gonna tell them to do 'get on their bike and find work?'
Yes, there are scroungers and greedy so and so's ( a lot of them are just like the filthy rich?) but the kids the likes of Marcus Radford are aiming at are genuine cases you cannot say they're all spongers!

It wasn't with the benefit of hindsight that made the Government slow off the mark, it was a political decision.
You dont have to be a rocket scientist to know that travel, especially o and from virus hit countries, was absolutely crazy and was prolonged for all the wrong reasons and it has and will cost us all very dear.
Those nations that moved earliest to "lock down" are having their "freedoms" returned earlier and on a wider scale.
You have certainly let them off the hook very easily indeed.
As for Creagh, despite the result of the referendum, she didn't believe in leaving the EU. Perhaps it would have been more hypocritical for here to do a 360 degree change ?
The leader of the party that you voted for seems rather more hypocritical.
Up until 2016, his views were that we were better off in Europe, only to change his mind when he got a whiff of the Tory leader's job - now tell me who is the real hypocrite.
He also runs the party that froze the wages of all NHS staff for 10 years and then has the audacity, to lead "the clap" on a Thursday evening. Again, who is the hypocrite
Finally, what do you think will happen to the wages of the key workers when the books have to be balanced, do you think they will see any kind of pay rise

| I am sorry but anything that goes well or badly falls at the door of this government. The Covid financial support package was well received however the cost now very much dictates the government actions including trying to get children back to school without proper thought or preparation. The handling of the pandemic and our high rate of deaths falls entirely at the door of the Conservatives, despite the usual “it would be worse under Corbyn”.
To make matters worse the fact he has a large majority allows Johnson to basically follow his hero Trump by being lazy and lying because he knows he will not be held to account by the government. I note he is also now having the RAF plane he uses painted Red, White and Blue, I wonder where he got that idea from.
The large majority also leads to the government ignoring scrutiny by parliament and some to act with relative impunity with property deals shall we say.
I am afraid that those who defend or voted Conservative should expect the rest to point out their failures and to say I told you so. The new Wakefield MP showed with his pre prepared central office question to Priti Patel yesterday that he is just a patsy, trying to be a good boy.

Decisions for the good of the country, Yes, lockdown should have happened sooner, and i lost some faith when they allowed fifteen thousand people a day into the country with the excuse, the disease was already here, so it wouldn’t make any difference now, that was stupid, why keep throwing more Wood onto the fire. As for M. Creagh, She should have resigned when she couldn’t support her constituents decision to leave the EU.
You think Boris left Mrs May’s cabinet office to become PM. The whole political establishment, media, globalists, kept telling us the leave voters didn’t win the referendum, the political remainers would prevent the U.K. leaving the EU. I’m sure Boris, even with Cummings, never expected Boris to become Tory leader, the political establishment said he was unelectable. He may seem hypocritical to many, or perhaps he’s just a very clever politician. Don’t forget who saved his life, the NHS, so why wouldn’t he applaud them on a Thursday night.
I’ve no idea how the books will be balanced, speculate to accumulate, spend on the economy, reap extra taxes, perhaps extra taxation on those many people earning above £100,000. You know like footballers wanting ordinary taxpayers to fund those who won’t take responsibility for themselves. I’m sure of one thing, we’d be well and truly stuffed if the other lots had won in December 2019.

I would hope they would not have sacrificed the old just to free up hospital beds.

| Anyone interested in the Pandemic and would like to hear some credible grown ups, BBC could learn a lot from this, discussing it. Watch 'Webinar: Investigating the Pandemic: Evaluating the evidence' - - - - - - - - . To see only 627 views for such an informative video is such shame.

Not this myth again.
It's currently spreading like wildfire in Brazil. Record number of new infections today. And while June is Brazil's 'coldest' month, temperatures still average 19/20 degrees. It'll be into the mid 20s for the majority of this week.

I regret that it was known that they cleared out the hospitals to give them greater capacity for the virus patients when they realised what the pandemic involved. It was a shame they didn’t bother testing those patients being sent to care homes in amongst those most likely to die from the virus. The Nightingale hospitals did not come on line until several weeks after that, this is why the Hull KR player thought he was going to have to leave Pindersfield because they wanted his bed however this was changed at the last minute.
With regards Corbyn why should he have any concerns because it will be Johnson and the government who will have to explain the late start at every stage and why we have so many excess deaths.
I am sure it will be another Judge lead review of their actions because they know these take years to reach a conclusion and he will be desperate to do his usual and kick the can well down the road.
I know their supporters suggest hindsight but unfortunately they had at least two weeks of evidence from Italy regarding the dangerous nature of this pandemic. It was their choice to ignore these warnings and initially treat it like influenza and go for herd immunity. He may have been a little bit wiser if he had bothered to turn up to the first five COBRA meetings, but he was on holiday because it is well known he likes the title but not the responsibility or the work involved.
The pandemic could not have occurred at a worst time because Johnson is clearly not up to this or any other disaster like the floods earlier in the year. This time I believe he was in the Foreign Secretary’s grace and favour country pad sorting out his divorce and his girlfriend’s baby shower.

Thats simply not true.
The MERS virus is found all year round in the middle east.
I was in Kos last August, circa 35 degrees and the whole family "caught" cold.I believe from doctor over there it was enterovirus(which thrives in warmer weather),appreciate not the same strain.

Are you talking about 0.2% of the population or 0.2% of deaths for those who have contracted the virus ?
Also, you suggest that the virus wont spread during summer ??
It seems to be gathering pace in some very warm climates at present

To clarify, I was specifically referring to the UK and not any other country. Secondly I meant to say they don't spread anywhere near as severe like they do in a UK Winter season. Thidly if you dont believe deaths are higher from respiratory diseases in a UK winter season go to the ONS site and download the data as its all there to support my view. Fourthly I don't assert the virus spreads in relation to temperature, I strongly believe they spread from seasonal changes in the weather I.e. summer to winter. This might help you understand Brazil's growth in numbers - April to September is there low season (currently in the middle of winter, June & July). I've not done any detailed research into Brazil so it would be unfair of me to comment on them any further. But for a country with a population three times our size they are doing much better than us based on the death figures.

| It's interesting that no one, not least those who constantly spout "death" figures, have responded to the video (I posted the info) of New York Nurse Erin Marie Olszewski.
Feel free to de-bunk her personal front line experience before espousing endless quotes on death figures from the MSM.
Also of great interest is the comments from around the world in the section below the video. Not just New York.
Also the links I posted of doctors disputing, again their personal experience, how many of those figures have been arrived at.

Do you want to put those couple of videos against the endless,, endless videos of doctors bemoaning the numbers of covid cases or refrigerated trailers lined up outside hospitals and funeral places in the states.
You're examples may be proven right, although it seems unlikely at the moment and we now have countries like Spain, deliberately under reporting the numbers so that they can open up their ecconomy.
We will have the same over here very soon, with the 2 metre distancing being "relaxed" to allow businesses to function more easily

Yes, I certainly do. What do you mean a "couple"? You do realize that many, many videos from Doctors, scientists, virologists etc. have been taken down by the media companies because they oppose the official narrative?. Yet Bill Gates, 17 year old Greta Thunderburg (sic) not in any of those professions, can say anything he / she wants?
PS the video of Erin was taken down too but re posted elsewhere.
They too down a video from a front line nurse??? Shame, I hear you saying.

Yes there are good arguments for rewarding some sections of society, but Can you tell me how the government will be able to sort out the future financial problems that the virus has caused. The furlough payment, the unemployment benefits being paid now, let alone to be paid in a few weeks when lockdown ends, and there’s a lot of jobs disappearing. Loss of tax revenues. Already the Chancellor is discussing removing the so called triple lock from the state pension, the pensioners are probably the most vulnerable group in the country. I’ve mentioned on another post, I think the government will need to put billions more into the economy, to create jobs, and infrastructure, taxes will be increased, and I hope those tax dodgers will be chased up. Anyone who has the answer, please contact Boris.

Also of great interest is the comments from around the world in the section below the video. Not just New York.
Also the links I posted of doctors disputing, again their personal experience, how many of those figures have been arrived at.

This Erin Marie Olsewski? Never let a good crisis go to waste, indeed. I'd say she was an out-and-out fraud trying to make a quick buck. She's no more credible than a scammer. But, whatever gets you through your 'free-thinking' day.
I've read some of the comments on Olszewski videos. They range from "Because covid-19 doesn't exist. It's a global hoax to bring a global dictatorship." to "There is a pyramid of power in the world. This pandemic was planned a long time ago. Bill Gates talked about population reduction through vaccination in 2015. In a dollar bill there is a picture of a pyramide and one eye inside of it with words "new world order" in latin beneath it." Cranks who have just wasted about 5 minutes of my day!
The bit in bold. It's pretty easy for sockpuppets to shower social media with this sort of thing. My wife works in the NHS and she is part of a Covid frontline group. It started off pretty normal. Experiences were being shared and concerns were being voiced by what looked to be genuine NHS workers. Then, when talk of getting the economy back open began, new users started popping up who were saying the virus wasn't as bad as everyone was making out. When the media started reporting on a second wave these same users, and a few more new ones, started to post that what we have just had was probably the second wave, as the virus had probably been with us since last Autumn. It was all very coincidental. There was no talk of this before mention of opening the economy and a second wave.
Now, let me ask you this. I'm guessing you're one of those poeple who 'thinks for himself' and doesn't listen to the 'MSM'? What makes you trust single random people, who just pop up on the internet out of nowhere, even more? It sounds to me like you're wanting to find a conspiracy in all of this, and are just looking for anyone who will confirm your suspicions.

| Quote ="Dunkirk Spirit"Yes there are good arguments for rewarding some sections of society, but Can you tell me how the government will be able to sort out the future financial problems that the virus has caused. The furlough payment, the unemployment benefits being paid now, let alone to be paid in a few weeks when lockdown ends, and there’s a lot of jobs disappearing. Loss of tax revenues. Already the Chancellor is discussing removing the so called triple lock from the state pension, the pensioners are probably the most vulnerable group in the country.'"
To quote one of your earlier posts, they'll just have to "accept responsibility for themselves".
