All in all, very good first half - we took our chances and rode our luck. We also took advantage of a poor Hull side, cashing in on their mistakes (something we don't do enough of). Second half went a bit flat but, despite what Shaun Mcray said on Sky, we never realy looked in danger of loosing the game. Interesting to watch on the old sky+, you've got Clarkey and his crusty sock giving us big licks, and Mcray who won't have a good word said about us.

They also talked about the disruptions Hull had put up with this year constantly.

Regarding the Wally Lewis pass, the one I recall was in a game at Belle Vue (I think it was his debut versus Hull), when he took a tap penalty on the centre spot and 'flicked' out a pass to his brother Scot who was on the right touchline. I can still hear the gasp from the crowd. Great days.

Unless I'm mistaken Moore was only on for 14 mins in the first half and didn't return in the second. This will have meant a heavier workload for the rest of the pack and tiredness will have been a factor in the second half.

I noticed that. Was suprised he did not come back on although he did not do much when he came on any way.

Moore went of holding his arm, he looked to be in some discomfort.

It felt better at half time, but he refused to apologise to it for injuring it in the first place so it refused to play with him in the second half.

Remember Phil Eden was just getting into the team, Colin Maskill was our hooker, Roy Bratt, Billy Harris, David Jones, Harold Box I think was at full-back, Andy Fletcher was certainly still in the team then and was there was a three-quarter Coventry, was it Steve? Now my memory is failing me, must be a few others that I can't remember.

That absolutely amazed me too! I'm so glad we've had no such disruptions this year, it would've been awful and who knows what effect it could have had on our season.

Paul Coventry, had his best years at Fev, then came to us.
