How many of you made the same comments about Johns after his first few games. I seem to remember most of you so called experts said much the same and yet he is now back playing in the NRL. I would suggest you refrain from expressing your opinions based on one game or you will be fulfilling the prophesy that "it is better to look a fool than to open your mouth and dispel any doubts".

And could it be that Johns who looked nothing like he does now was badly coached and wasn't allowed to play his natural game with us ?.

He coulden't play with Tim Smith.

I keep seeing and hearing comments about the team needing time to gel. I can't see how this is going to happen when the team line up is changing every week. Yesterday it seemed to be changing depending on whether we were attacking or defending. Settled sides gel.

He wasnt one of Agars favourites so he was cast away into the background only to play when we had little hope of winning. Instead Agar pinned all our hopes on Smith and he began to misfire quite reguarly in the end when other teams worked us out.

I believe Johns was heavily criticised by our so called forum experts long before he was dropped by Agar never to return. I seem to remember many calls for him to be sent to Doncaster because that was his level. All I say is don't make the same mistakes based on limited knowledge but I know some of you will, you just can't help yourselves.

How dare you question the forums top coaches what gives you a right to an opinion over there expertise hhhhmmmm

I actually saw quite the opposite, thought he showed some good moves, couple of really nice passes and the double pump that eventually lead to the try was excellent, his kicking looked ok too and he was marshaling the players about when calling the plays, he's clearly spent an awful lot of time in the gym too as he looked massive, its about getting some match fitness now for harry I think

Think we got a good player there and I look forward to seeing more

If Harry does impress then who is going to miss out ?
We have Gidinet, Sammut, Sykes, Harry and Wilde all looking for a spot in the halves.
Ok, Wilde has been shipped out on loan but, that still leaves 4 players for 2 spots in the team.
Even if Sykes is used as a utility player to give cover in the centres FB or in the halves, one of the remaining 3 players is going to be disappointed, which is probably why Agar experimented with Sammut at FB and our FB on the wing

Nice position to be in but IMO Wildie should be interchanging with McShane. First choice half backs, Sammut and Godinet (he needs to be on all the game) Sykes as cover and as for HS - haven't worked him out yet...

The question keeps being asked why players who have shown form arent doing so now. My opinion is that It goes back to the coach who hasnt got his team working for him.
Put yourself in the position of being at work and being told to do something you dont agree with nor undertsand, but you know you have to do it because thats what pays the bills.
Your work rate would suffer and you wouldnt want to be there which is excatly what i think is happening.
Get a coach who has the dressing room and you will see an immediate improvement

Moore was the only Trinity player who could honestly say he'd done his best.

My opinion of Moor was always good but that effort has put it through the roof.

My opinion of Richard Moore is that he only knows one way and that's to give it his all its the measure of the man who even in the face of defeat will give everything.

Moore was outstanding the rest of the pack was a disgrace! What ground would you drop Godinet for Seaker? MAthers on the wing was absolutely ridiculous. Sammut our most talented half at full back. Very odd indeed

Harry Seacombe nowhere near up to speed to be the play maker.

Sammut utterly wasted at FB, he's a live wire who needs to be in the thick of it.

Of all the above it's the Sammut/Mathers bit I don't get.

Basically WTF was agar thinking?

Afraid to say this lads but this switching players about only shows one thing and that's Agar is clutching at straws its busted and he don't know how to fix it.

Someone said before the game that with that team selection Agar was committing professional suicide.
Certainly worked out that way.

I did notice Harry had his knee heavily strapped. Don't know if this was hampering his game.

First time I've seen harry for what its worth my opinion of the lad , he played OK behind a beaten pack his kicking game was OK , his tackling was useless how anyone can suggest playing him at fullback the way clarkie shrugged him aside on a one on one to score answered that, not slating the kid but I slagged Issac john for his lack of pace for a stand off but this kid isn't in the same class as a footballer and is just as slow , as a half back I prefer wildie and allyou who say wildies a hooker ain't seen the lad play as a junior and have the same attitude as our coach not prepared to put a bit of time in developing players potential

I actually feel for Wildie he stood in for Aiton a couple of times and let no one down and had a decent game against Wigan.I thought when Aiton went we would have used him saying as money was tight but we went and brought McShane in.Not knocking McShane he has put effort in and at least tried to spark us into life.

Mcshane needs spelling to get the best out of him. For me Wildie is the best man for that job.

Spot on for me mate as McShane cant do 80 mins as we know and thats why I thought it madness letting Wildie go on loan.Mind you looking at Agars selections of late anything can happen.
