i saw alot more than 1 mistake... watched highlights on the engage super league website...

and saw a few from that 10 mins... also was sidestepped by a 2nd rower too...

catches some high ball well but other than that... i reckon NL bound or bottom of the league bound ? IMO

You've lost all confidence in him based on 1 mistake? He's been one of the better players this season, doesn't say much I know, safe under the high ball and makes the majority of 1 on 1's of which there are plenty due to the pathetic tackling of his team mates. Also Murphy is not a full back he is a centre so would it not make more sense to play players in their actual positions?

how many breaks has blaymire made this year? (you could count them on one hand)
how many tries has he created linking into the line? (same as above)

I make no wonder we look ordinary out wide - we have no threat coming from the full-back linking in with pace - look at greenshields at catalan / even tansey at hull.

We are a slow boring team to watch this year and without obst in and bj on one leg it looks even worse. Next year we certainly need to be looking at full-back as a place to strengthen with some pace. But will JK see this with his forwards style of play??? probably not.

I thought thats why he signed Kieran Hyde but i suspect thats for next season.

Just had a quick look on the superleague website to have a look at Blaymire. It's pretty handy having the comparison tool so I thought i'd compare him to Tansey (who i don't particularly rate).

Heres the results.

Clean breaks MB 4 JT 11
Tackles bust MB 17 JT 46
Try assists MB 1 JT 8

But....

Errors MB 10 JT 30
and an increased penalty count for Tansey too.

I'm guessing Tansey has the most errors due to being involved in the attack a lot more. And coming up with those errors whilst putting things on out wide (knock ons, forward passes etc).

Quite interesting really because I didn't realise Tansey was so proactive in attack.

Blaymire is safe defensively but is seriously lacking attacking skills. Perhaps we should try Hyde at some time soon who i have heard is very quick.

Blaymire is very reliable under the high ball. Blaymire ambles to the defensive line is tackled. More attack-minded full backs race to the defensive line and are tackled. I'm not sure there is any real gain or loss. Maybe what he lacks is a threat in attack near the line.

thought with smurf in and gleeson on the winger was a better combination

I would prefer Smurf in the centre and Gleeson on the terraces.

Last Friday i was waiting to get a bath cos a lass at our school has been giving me the glad eye and i thought i would go darn to video shop where she works part time and have a sniff around. Me sister is knocking this kid off wot plays for this u19 team in Cas which isnt going down too well with me dad tbh, truth be known shes only off out with him cos hes got an R reg clio with the customary dice in the windscreen. Anyway me dad sez to our kid lends that new pink shirt youve bought and i will let you get in the bath before me cos we were all quing up for it and he had a date with that lass next door but one whose dad was a Cas fan, well seeing as the last time he borrowed one off him he came home with kebab meat down the front it was no suprise when our kid's second word was off. Not a lot of people know this but me dad dies his hair and he asked me mam to do his roots for him and she said i havent time im off to bingo do em yourself, so wot does his highness do? only runs all the hot water off so that there is 4 of us wanting a bath and no hot water. =#BF0000So yes Mr Vasty he can get really petty can our dad when he wants and if that want enough me mam kicked off then cos she'd to put the emersion heater on for some hot water, which meant me and our kid had to share the same water, i love him to bits but Im not convinced about his personal hygene if you know wot i mean

but i will say this if it had been my dad i would definately not have followed him in

same old vasty allways boring
