I thought the full back James Woodburn-Hall would be a good signing. I thought he was the Fax player who troubled us most. Also plays scrum half and stand off.

I agree he was great but he's 29 and I think has a decent job.
So he's probably happy where he is.

Looks like Matty English is being offered out to other clubs.

Think were OK for props, but local, and at 26 his best years are ahead of him.

I believe that he has already signed at Cas for next year and it will be announced soon

I would echo your last post Westgate,Woodburn-Hall impressed me very much for HX at FB.Got to say I wasn't aware of his defence,good or bad, but his running with the ball was exceptional.He's one of those players that seem to glide over the ground and made us look flat footed at times.Ideally he'd be 2 or 3 years younger PT,but don't think 29 is too old.A good job could be an issue though.If we have signed a player from the Championship for next season I would hope it would be him.

Do we need him though? We have Jowitt and Booth is showing promise.

Suppose you do need squad players with utility value.

He’s very well thought of at Wire, he’s been playing injured for a long time now though so bringing in Yates may give him a bit of breathing space to recover/manage the injury prior to the playoffs.

Keep hearing rumours that we have released Trueman from the last year of his deal at Hull to take up an offer at Wakey

Would be a very good signing if we could keep him fit, played his best rugby under Powell.

Truman/Russel/Lino all three have their qualities but it would be strange to have all three. I was hoping we would splash the cash on an oversea half to give us that real X factor

Would hope we are looking more at a fast straight runner in similar mould to Toppo,or in today's world Mikey Lewis.
