Small nucleus of supporters are you crazy we have a huge nucleus of supporters to get interested Wakefield is a big city. How far does the Wakefield postcode stretch ? With a new ground we will be like Wire and Hull our crowds will increase by 30-50 % easily !

A new stadium will add extra to the away fans, but we need to improve the on the field product from what has been served up since the Warrington game for any new fans to be enticed on a regular basis.

I don't like to be a doom and gloom merchant but we seem to be going backwards at present and undoing alot of the good work that has been done over the last few years.

Harlequins will be no push over in the cup and if we can't find some enthusiasm and spark from somewhere we could end up out of the cup at the first hurdle.

Only paid a tenner and feel as though I've been robbed, we were that bad... the scoreline even totally flattered us today!

Crusaders were everything I thought they would be and I knew we had to play well to get anything. I think the players held the same view as a few supporters near me that they only had to turn up to win. They were obviously gonna be a well drilled unit and work hard in defence and that was all they needed to be to beat us convincingly. The difference in speed around the play the ball was very worrying indeed and something JK needs to sort ASAP.

Only 4 players came out with any credit for me...Paul King (mom by a distance for me) JD (lot better) Henderson and Murphy aswell as is usual.

Agree with an earlier post about Tronc, just no point whatsoever playing next week, lets get Gledhill back in and not waste a shirt. I'd also like to see Davey in aswell, ok he may not be a player with the wow factor but his distribution around the ruck is something we desperately need IMO.

One of Cooke, Obst, Jeffries and Latu has to go from the starting lineup for me aswell, I don't think we work with all these 4 on the field at the same time...

Finally....surprised at the announced attendance, didn't look anywhere near 4671 to me???

Yes but watching dewsbury and feth is harldley enticing is it plenty of fans that could be had.

My first game attended this year having been down in Exeter. Can't remember a longer 80 minutes! We were clueless, one man up all game which was foolish considering that we actually looked handy down the flanks - but true to form we rarely went wide. Crusaders defended very well but we didn't trouble them.

Tronc's not putting his heart into it for obvious reasons and his offloads to nobody in our own half were atrocious - not that anyone was looking for it or expecting it. No team cohesion. No runners. Poor options on the last. Missing Brough's kicks. Cooke's defence was shocking and he really needs to start stepping up soon. Our wingers must start backing themselves! Why do they come inside straight away when there's acres of space ahead?

Positives:
King and Moore put in good stints
Korkidas but he needs to stop being put on his back!
JD tried hard (though he misses that yard of pace)
Murphy - solid, some good footwork
Crusaders fans were a great bunch
Cheaper entry than usual

And watching us at the moment is !!!

Tronc should be made to travel and run the kicking tee on.
Millard should be given a week to consider whether he wants to be here and whether he wants to put the effort in.
JD needs to think about whether he can still contribute or are we allowing his loyalty and our affection to hurt the team effort.

One or two others ought to be thinking themselves lucky and should be told as much in no uncertain terms.
Being a nice family club is all well and good but t's not a holiday camp!

Yes agree,JK needs to blood a few youngsters and it may shake some of these senior players into action.If i was Kear i drag each of the team into his office and straight up ask them if they are willing to give everything they've got to the cause,if not they can do one.

King went well along with Korki and Moore, Sam tried, JD never gave up.

Murphy played his heart out for us.

I left the game with over 10 minutes to go as I could not stay and watch anymore of that rubbish. Absolute shi?e!!!

The 3 games in 8 days is no excuse. It's the same for everyone and we have a squad that should be able to cater for it. The bottomline is we were bloody awful from start to finish. They wanted it more than us from minute 1 and they deserved the win as they were the better team.

Only a handful of players stood up today, the rest were a complete shambles.

JK - Decide who the on field director and general is FFS!!! There was a complete lack of organisation in the halves today. Also once again our defence, ball retention, discipline and kicking game was an absolute joke.

Not left a game that angry and upset by our showing for some time. Hoping to see a significant improvement and change in attitude for our next game.

I agree Al but it's just not enough when those 6 are being let down by the rest.............and today they were.........very badly

Effort or no effort we don't have the tools to do the job i'm afraid, not going to throw the towel in

but we don't have the players/squad to push on this season.

Just one other thing I really noticed today was how poor our kicking game was and how exceptional that of Witt's was.

Comes down to one simple thing to me and that's pressure.

Whenever Obst, Cooke, Jeffries or whoever was kicking came to kick they found themselves under pressure and came up with very poor efforts...9 times out of 10 straight down the fullbacks throat.

On the other hand when Witt had ball in hand, due to the 'can't be d' attitude in closing him down he was afforded all the time and space he wanted to do as he pleased and his kicking in general play was absolute class and laid the foundation for their win.

How difficult is it for any player at any level to try and pressure a kicker?

form is temporary , class is permanent but effort is just down to attitude
