i would like to hope cockney that luke will come good for us, i certainly think he capable of it mate, i would like him to get a chance on wing this year , wether that will happen i don't know but hopefully he will if not this season next for sure imho

I was hoping to see Murphy on Sunday but apart from been water boy had no more involvement - I think we should try him Friday it should be viewed we are playing a top side and cant lose anything by trying it could be good for his confidence if he plays well

Personally, I'm starting to like Grix on the wing. He isn't doing a lot wrong now.
I don't think Murphy or George would have made the try at Celtic like he did and I don't think they would be as good in defense, or under the high ball as Grix either

They both have lots of potential and wouldn't mind seeing them play but not just because we don't like Grix. They have to earn it.

But if we do replace, I would put Murphy above George on showing so far even though he's actually a centre anyway

FACT George has at some point to be removed from cotton wool. A talented player I agree but no good at all to us if he isn't physically strong enough to play, those are the hard facts of the game.

Kear owes George nothing, it was Ferres who signed him not Kear who tends to go for the more robust player.

I hope he makes it but personally I'd get shot of him because he simply does not pay his way. Yes he does probably earn very little but then he does very little so all things are relative. At the moment Murphy looks a far better bet even if he lacks the wow factor.

And there lays the problem, you are blinkered and seeing it from only one side as friends and relatives of players tend to do.

I'm afraid in my book knowing a player even if your Gareth Ellis cousin (that's not you) gives you no greater credibility in my book.

George is an adult now, if he feels that he is not ready then he should say so. After all it is his career. Also the medical staff will have cleared him to play. As an injury prone youngster he can hardly expect to be commanding a substantial salary.

When he has played I have been impressed with his slight of foot and speed but he has a long way to go to becoming a regular. Murphy is by far the better player IMO and would be in front of George.

From what i have heard regarding George he has lost a lot of confidence and isnt quite up to Super League at the moment but if he can pull it together potential we have quality centre coming through the ranks...

I think it's more to do with heart than owt else, it's a brutal game even now and I'm not sure he has that side of the game. But yes he is a potential talent but how long do you wait? At the end of the day he is taking up a place that someone else could fill.
