I saw Anthony Tupou today in Trinity walk and he looked to be struggling.

Certainly walking with a severe limp.

Would be very surprised if he made it onto the pitch next year the way he looked.

Great addition as he also brings experience of the middle 8's which will help you at the back end of the season.

IT was a light hearted comment, aimed more at myself as I'd posted exactly the same minutes before you, and also had a smiley on the end to symbolise humour.

Squad is looking good we have some talent all over, hopefully if they can gel and get going as a unit there should be some good attacking rugby.

I would love to see us turn BV into a fortress where its difficult to come and get the points, its been a few years since we have been in this potential position, I think we will surprise a few.

There's uncertainty surrounding our 9 but that doesn't necessarily translate into it being an issue

In the second row we have mobility, speed and great line runners to choose from

We've got two or three quality halfbacks and in Williams we have
potentially the best half in the competition.

There are all the elements for a good team and a good season.
Much will depend on if and how they all click as a unit and forge partnerships throughout the team.

I think we'll challenge anyone in attack

The key to a good season being great or terrible is how we defend.
If they fix up the defensive structures and start trusting each other to do their individual jobs then we'll function as a unit and be hard to break down.

Pretty much happy with the squad other than at 9. It's the only glaring weakness. Hopefully the large pack will be dominant enough for the likes of Wood and perhaps Finn to make up for the likely absence of Moore.

Ultimately it's down to Chester (and Kear) in how this team goes. He had a good start and a poor end so the jury is still out for me. Hopefully we see more of the early form than the latter. Again the depth in the pack should aide this.

What's the chance of Moore being retained? We could probably do with him
