Didn't he leave Cas after a drink driving escapade with Ben Cockayne and a Hull KR vehicle? Reported disciplinary issues at Hull. Should be interesting. He's a Normy lad, right?

Stupid head butt I know but his (Cas) family are saying Radders wanted him to be more aggressive but then rips into him in front of the rest of the squad when he gets sent off. Not sure when his suspension started or how many matches he got but could he be clear to play when we come to your place?

Absolutely great forward, However wouldn't want his disruption in the dressing room, Leave that to cas and DP to sort out, They have managed t get the best out of troubled players in the past but it never ends well for them (Chase, Zak) Good luck to them though if he thinks he can make it work.

I think they, he and possibly you, have missed the point Radders is trying to make then.
You can be aggressive without being ill disciplined.
When he learns to do that, he'll be one of England's best props.

though, I kinda feel that if he can't get it together in the relative isolation of codheadland, bringing him home to the dingbats of Airedale wouldn't figure highly in my list of corrective actions, but, well, you can't win if you don't buy a ticket..

I think the same was said when we paid a big transfer fee for a prop who was a reputed ale cart but he went on to be a Cas legend. Some of you may remember him, his name was Lee Crooks.

Recent history with chase and hardaker makes this a risky adventure for cas but watts is a good player so it’s probably worth it for them.

May be more to it than we know. Watts dad apparently rang some sort of sports programme on radio Humberside tonight. Watts wanted to stay but thinks he's been singled out for criticism when Kelly is getting away with far worse. Watts struggled to get to training with the recent snow and M62 closures but others who live nearer the ground get away with far more. Not sure without researching it but his dad also said Liam had never been disciplined by the club.
As always we'll have to wait and see.

I'd give Cas 18 months before it goes belly up like Chase, Hardaker and the rest.

I don't see that as a big issue.
It's only like having a top player from Oz come over for let's say 12 games.
The only difference is you are not sure when the end date is.
The trick is to get the value while its there and get rid at the right time.

Some players suit some clubs so who knows.

However can't help but think Powell fancies himself as some kind of player whisperer like Kear but I don't think he is. He failed with Chase and Hardaker and a few others. Think he's trying to prove a point that he doesn't need to prove and it might be his undoing which would be a shame tbh. But as I say it may prove to be inspired.

Powell has actually surprised me in his time at Cas, for some reason i always had this opinion of him that he was a no BS kind of coach and would get rid at the first sign of trouble.. Obviously i was a far way out with that.

Significant fee believed to be close to £100,000? Wow, didn`t see that bit.

1. I would not pay 100k for him anyway regardless of his off field inconsistencies
2. Does this not ring any bells to Castleford as a club?
3. Hull must be laughing there way to the bank!!
