15 mins to kick off and the crowd looks very thin. Another poor attendance looks to be on the cards. Perfect weather for RL too.

Crap attendance tonight, but with it been on sky and people looking to save money it does not suprise me.

Maybe the club could do more to get more people through the gates. When I was on way to game about 7 lads were going to pub to watch it as it is "cheaper"

think thats it, people cant afford it and with Hull playing as they are i wont pay to go to away games at the minute.

Thought you played some decent rugby in 2nd half. If some luck early on had gone your way could have been a complete diff game.

Thought we were very good in 1st half but 2nd half especialy in defence we were slack

I doubt that makes any difference. Nothing more than a training sesh so far anyway, and can't see anyone not going to the game because they want to watch that on TV.

tbh don't think that will have put many off. It's only a friendly and don't think anyone was expecting a close game!

We have got to stop making excuses (game on sky, its raining, England match on etc and address the problem time for the Wakefield marketing machine to kick in

there is no excuse, just hope it gets better when the new stadium is built so the atmosphere reverberates around the stand

I think we could have a £5 pound discount, when game on sky that may help, very poor from our fans.

Again, sound idea, but the problem with things like this are they lessen the incentive to get a season ticket and ultimately lead season ticket holders to feel aggrieved.

I think promotion, marketing is the key longer term - Shudds have shown crowds can be manufactured out of nothing, but it takes money and a fairly successful all round set up.

I cant get down as often as i'd like any more, went last night and maybe 4 - 5 others, but £18 is expensive for what you get - especially the last one I went to was the Hudds game.

I don't think it's suprising that there was a low crowd there last night. Sat night, on sky, 2 teams in poor form etc. Don't know how many we took but it looked like a fair few on tele.

Ladies day for the Quins game, what about a day for the guys for once?

If you are asking me as a season ticket holder, would I be happy to see gates go up, of course. However, people buy season tickets in the knowledge that you get a couple of games free. Each discount on pay per game tickets the club makes, it reduces the worth of the effective discount season ticket holders get. Some season ticket holders would therefore next time decide against purchasing in advance. The club loses out on the security of guaranteed income up front. If the ex-season ticket holder misses a game they would then get nothing. If the ex-season ticket holder takes our usual mid-season dip in form particuarly badly, the club may lose even more.

As for mens day, it is a nonsense not even worth explaining, albeit for different reasons than why ladies day is a nonsense. Royal Ascot Belle Vue is not.

Most other clubs put offers on for some games against the teams that would normally get lower gates. Sure there are many ideas they could run with.

If season ticket holders were affected a lot they could offer the season ticket holders a discount on next years s.ticket , a Discount on next years tops to boost sales etc.

I am not too fussed how much I save on my season ticket, I buy it because I want to support the club not to save money, that is just a bonus.

Let's come up with ideas then. We need ones which get people in, but want to make them come back for the next game and the next game.....

When we've had 'acts' on before - do we ever follow up and get the people back when there's no 'X Factor' loser on before the game? You sell the sizzle the first time, next, they come back for the steak.

If only there were more Peter Deakin's out there - and yes, a winning team helps - but you can't imagine Bradford struggling as much with his ideas still around.
