Agree with all that, but I think that’s why we brought it Matty Russell. He was a straight swap for Olpherts really - does all the same things but slightly more consistent. I imagine Walmsley will start the season, and if he can’t hack the physicality then Russell will take his place. I’m with you though - I really want him to prove everyone wrong, he’s a really likeable character.

If we get something like that for every game then that’s cracking coverage along with the shorts etc we have been seeing. Last year the YouTube channel grew from a couple hundred to now almost 4000 subscribers. It would be a good idea to try do the same with a TikTok channel if possible. Cas saw a huge boost with their association to that love island ex player. Do we have any famous ex players or club associated persons/or Wakefield that we could collaborate with perhaps to advertise our socials? I feel this is the only way you’ll see big growth. The content will certainly aid steady growth.
