The developers want the land to develop, WT is in the way, they don't give a stuff about WT so its smoke/mirrors and miscellaneous spin, 8u115h1t and promises never to be acted on till WT get fed up and make their own arrangements.
Apart from the perception that MC and CB are nobody's fools and thus not gonna just roll over, I expect the interested parties have accepted it'll take a bit longer than they'd hoped.

Could it be, if we don't get new stadium it's the end of the club, if MC and CB can't agree terms on proposed stadium then probably no club. The new trust find miraculously find somebody willing to agree terms on new stadium to take over the club.
