Credit to you Mark for your kind words and continued loyalty to your team. As followers of Wakey we can relate to the frustrations of following a team at the lower end of the table.

Like us you've had some difficult years yet carry on regardless. Your team has shown some moments of promise this year and I'm sure that first victory of the season is just around the corner.

If you drop a league next year then I hope it is a chance for stability and growth for your club. Loyal fans deserve some success rather than roller coaster soap operas off the field like we've endured.

Genuine rugby league town? Check.

All weathers? Check.

Community right behind the team? Afraid not - too many of them are behind the team only in so much as they read the back of the Wakey Express then have a moan in the pub.
