I will give it a read and I agree my view was formed off the posts prior to the one I made that seemed to indicate loyalty, but i must say it is an opinion born out of ignorance on my behalf, but it must be a pretty amazing reason.

Only half of it is loyalty to Wakey, i don't for one minute think Jamie would put the club before his family, the "amazing" reason is his family and the fact they all live local (fev) and give him the help and support that he needs with Brennan.

Its not a mystery, its called doing the best you can.

As I said my viewpoint was out of ignorance and without sounding cold I do find it a strange decision but fair play, i am not criticising, it is clearly a very difficuly postion to be in.

If you read the book there is no mystery.

I'm sure he would have preferred to stay at Trin and as not does the best for his family.

I think Barrow's tax haven status helps them recruit.
