Big game again this week and a win will go some way to helping us not only stay up but put us in a play off postion.

Players, crowd and everybody need to be really up to give 120% for 80 minutes non-stop to make sure we get the 3 points. Won't be easy either way.

Agree. Good idea. Wish club website was updated at more often. Little or no activity Mon to Fri. Fans(true ones!!) like to be kept in loop.How good it was to meet and socialise with players after Wrexham and Sheffield. We thought it great they gave their time with tired and aching bodies.

Must perform well and we should win, but need to stay focussed.

We need to approach and play this game with the same attitude and determination as against Sheffield. Mentally "switching off" is not an option, unless we want defeat. There are no games this year where we can cruise in second gear and get a win.

It goes without saying how badly we need the points.

Were 5 points clear so a win takes us closer to where we want to be.

I think it will be a tough match, Rochdale certainly won't roll over and play dead. It's not many weeks ago that they went to the LSV and only lost by 12points against a very strong Leigh team!

That's what I was going to say too. Plays off would be nice, but I would settle for 9th!

Despite how the table read there are no weak teams in our division this season.
Barrow, Rochdale, Swinton etc can take any team on their day, P&R has certainly brought some fight back to RL, still not settled with the idea of DR as it raises the question of fairness in our sport, ultimately it could see perfectly capable teams who do not use this system get relegated.

This is a must win game and if we win well then I predict a win away at Fax on Thursday to boot, not counting my chickens just yet but there is an air of belief in the cougars team that is clear to see

Whereas most of us would settle for mid table this season, me included, I really don't see the four teams immediately above us as being better teams then us and most certainly Halifax and Fev are not the teams of previous seasons. The only team in the championship that we probably wouldn't expect to beat ([ion paper)[/i is Leigh and look what almost happened there!

Great game today. All played well. Thought Handforth had best game yet for Cougars. Noticed a G Duffy played on wing for Hunslet today. Is it our Gavin? If so hope it only on loan.Bring on Halifax. Come on Cougars.

Fine performance from the team. Absorbed the first half pressure, made good adjustments for the loss of Danny Jones and stepped on the gas in the second.

Masterful performance from Handforth ably supported by those around him. He really showed his qualities today with precise and varied passes, clever kicks and sniping, probing runs. I said in a previous post regarding applauding the fans that he still had a bit to learn about leadership, well today on the playing front he laughed in my proverbial face

It will be interesting to see how we cope without Danny against Fax.

Ruthless. Handforth was outstanding today. Grabbing the game by the scruff of the next. Shouting at players.
Heskieth was also outstanding. He is just getting better.
The only down side is the injury to Danny.

I don't know who's fit to be honest, but if would prefer a playmaker rather than a link man or they will just target tiger and close him down.
