You have got to be kidding me?
Why have season ticket prices gone up £20 compared to [url=http://viewtopic.php?f=31&t=434486last season[/url?
By my reckoning, with buying early, a season ticket next year will pay for itself after 11 games. Last season it was 7 games.
Unless there's a miracle and we stay up we'll be watching an inferior grade of rugby. And yet loyal fans are expected to pay more?
There just seems to be hardly any value for money in it at all, can someone at the club explain?

10 league games @ £11.00 = £110. So how is the season ticket a saving ?????.

2 Choo Choo cup group games and a Challenge cup game I believe are included.
Still only works out at £12 saving plus what ever the admission for the cup game is.

| Not good!, at that i will not be getting a season ticket this year, thats my xmas prezzie out the window from the mrs, this in turn means i will be spending less in the bar as the price on the actual day increases, only by £11 admission price granted but it would be better in the till wouldn't it!

| Sorry looking at some sites (Super League) - this is not good value come on Cougars think fans!!!! Think if they have a 2010 Season ticket they should get 25% off 2011 season ticket if bought before 1 st November. Can see some not going for these prices. Oh dear.

| I understand the point of view from the season ticket holders but £11 might just bring new blood to CP,which IMO is priority

| They can't reduce the price of the season ticket as next season they are going to have winning pay to fork out most if not every week

Does that justify putting it up by 20% though Mike? I guarantee that most hard working Cougar fans' wages haven't gone up by that amount. The bottom line is I won't be getting one for next season, I'll pay in and instead of having half a dozen pints in the ground I'll have a couple..
Also Championship 1 winning pay will be no where near Championship winning pay because if we won, say 80% of our games next season on this year's winning pay we'd break the much lower Championship 1 salary cap.

| Well, it's twenty quid more than last year; balanced against having to find entry and beer money every other week, I'll be going for the season ticket option, at the discounted price.
...does it get us a discount in the shop (or even better, at the bar?!)

| Reckon this is a bit of an own goal for the club, there is no reward to the previous season ticket holders, i expect the take up of season tickets will be very low compared to last year, its a definite no from me, less money spent at the bar and one or two easy wins may lose out to family days out - and thats just the way it is!

| IMO there should definatly be something for a current season ticket holder because when season tickets were sold fans were not aware that the club was going into administration. So they should still be £100 for exsiting ticket holders and new fans £120.
Season Tickets are supposed to save money.

| The savings are a little slim.
10 League games, 2 NRC Games, 1 Challenge Cup game.
13 s £11 = £143.
If you might miss a couple of games next year then the £120 ticket is not so staggering a saving.
If you miss any games the £140 ticket puts you out of pocket.
Also worth considering how many games will have cheap or free tickets given out next season.
For me I think it would become a good deal if this year they let season ticket holders in for free to U21s.
They are just as entertaining and beer tastes just as good watching them as it does watching the 1st team.

| It really surprises that cougars dont include U21's games aswell with the season ticket as I think every other club does. When I was a season ticket holder in 2008 (pointless in the end as I ended up working on the gate nearly everyhome game), I tried with my season ticket for a U21's game but the guy on the gates wasnt having it.
