Who thought the band that was on after the game was good? I did. Sounded like the Eagles with some of their songs. They were a bit late setting up. Maybe if they had set up at half time it would have been better. More of the same after the next home game please. Maybe they could get Dr Coxx from Bradford.
They are good. What's all this crap about not being able to go up to the upstairs bar after the game?

The band were excellent and well worth waiting for. Certainly much better than your average pub band.

I think the timing was because of the Leeds/Bulls match on telly. Sad really because if people had heard them I am sure more would have stayed.

I was looking forward to them having heard a few of their tracks.

Unfortunately the wait was far too long, I had to be up for work at 4.45 am this morning and it was heading towards 7 O'clock when I left and they we're still putting their kit out.

A shame really, had it started at 6 I'd probably have stayed and I know others felt the same.

A missed opportunity for the club really.

We left about half five, after asking about the band and no-one knowing if they had even turned up or not. A shame, 'cos I was looking forward to it (even though the ref spoilt everything else about the day, including the banter between fans!) It's a great idea, but they need to begin playing pretty soon after the game or people will drift away.

I watched the grass grow outside which is more entertaining than watching Bradford Dulls.

I already knew the band were good and that is why I stayed. They were better still live.

However they deserved a bigger audience.

If I had known it was at 6.45 they were going to play I would have said so in the advert I made.

I think a lot of people wanted to see them, but thought they hadn't bothered to turn up when there was no sign of either them or any preparation for a live set going on. A lesson learned, I should think... keep your audience informed of what's happening, Cougars!

They were the 3 lads stood on the terrace by the bar near us Mick.

I didn't know myself until they started bringing gear in to set up after you went.

Based on information received one reason for band starting when they did was because in a previous game sport was on tv and a lot stayed and watched the game, therefore it was thought this was what folk liked.

I think next time any entertainment will start sooner, bear in mind its a learning curve and balancing act to see how things go because we have not had owt on after games till recent, which in my view is major improvement on how its been in past.

The bans started when they did as people have asked for sky games to be shown after the game, when the are on, so that is what happened. When the chairman realised people were not too bothered about the sky game, he asked the band to come on early, which they did. The band were great, and very nice guys too, who stayed back afterwards to chat to people and sign CD's. Next time if people need to know info about entertainment thats on after a game, then either ask the bar staff, or the chairman, they will try their best to answer your questions, even if it takes then a few minutes to find out the answers. Suggestions for further entertainment are always welcome. A quiz night has been suggested, also a race night and of course re-booking of the pulsating Pete and yesterdays band.

Don't you think it would have been better to communicate to us when they were coming on whilst promoting it in the first place?

Top notch Leeds indie group the The Dunwell Brothers Band 7pm.

The fact so many people didn't know this suggests poor marketing I'm afraid.

Aye well, as has been said it's a learning curve all round! Post match entertainment is still a great idea, just needs a bit of feedbackk, patience and tweaking that's all.
