It'll be one hell of a job to motivate the players after the club has effectively shafted them out of they cup and, looking at the draw, a not too unrealistic shot at a semi-final.

Will they round on young Ostick? Will they want out? Will they have a coach?

If I was Barry Eaton I'd get the players unbelievably fired up for this one because if we got 2 or 3 early tries I reckon they'd capitulate.

This game can't come soon enough IMO.

Players will be playing for their place and their future. They will have to impress the new coach.

However, if they get a big fine they may be in serious trouble - depends on what the RFL investigation finds.

I can't help wonder why the player himself, who must have known that he was cup-tied, seems to have escaped punishment.

Ostick's only a young lad isn't he? He probably just wanted to play and was a bit naïve.

Credit to the Director of Football for falling on his sword, as the guy who signed him he should have known if he was eligible to play and told the coach not to play him. It was the honourable thing to do.
