I have to say and no disrespect to those who played in the relevant positions the impact not just attacking wise but more importantly that of defensively James Hutchinson and Tom Sheldrake have meant.

Some of the chase backs by Hutch have been outstanding.

Tom Sheldrake is on loan from Hunslet for a month I really hope this can be extended or even better than that a deal to keep permanent.

Keep up the good work folks.

Pres - Raised his game and you could see the class, if you compare him to what his opposite number offered.
Moss - 2nd top performance in full back. Hope he stays put here. Far better here than on the wing.
Hutch - Class Class Class Class
Jones - Catching the ball as if he had magnets in his hands. 100% in every area.
Daley - Scored yet another try breaking tackles from players bigger than him.
Gav - Scores a try without even being close to the ball. (For the 2nd time this season)


Great as the above performances were the best Cougar performance of the day could only go to one player
and that was Joe Copperthwaite in the reserves game. Not just because of the 4 tries and 5 conversion kicks
he made, but the work rate defending also. My gut feeling is this will be Joe's last season as a reserve. He also
did well against Barrow during the previous week.

Where's dan belcher gone? I though he looked great pre season. Is he still injured?

As far as I know,Belcher is back playing in the reserves,at least he was at Barrow last week.

(re Belcher) Injured again I believe a hamstring this time.

Shame about Belcher, he was starting to loook good.
