So what is it 4 weeks off the start of the season , and you still dont know where you stand , they really are a comedy show without any humour

Is this new for this season, i am only in my second season watching the Cougars (and rugby league in general) so maybe its not ?

Win 3 Points. Draw 2 Points. Loss by 12 points or less 1 Point, will any points deduction be reflected in this, also do people think this will make clawing the points back any easier ?

Effectively John, a nine point deduction means we have lost three games before we even kick a ball! Or, we have to win three games before we even start to get any points; given how hard we all know this season is going to be anyway, just to stay up...
...I think we're looking at a long game here, maybe aiming to bounce straight back up after a tough relegation season, and move on from there. Even if we do get relegated though, it'll be valuable experience if we can keep the squad together, and make us more than able to win promotion again.

9 points is a real kick in the teeth.
If we lose our first two games, then the team really have a mountain to climb.

Why the bloody hell did anyone let this happen.

Just lets hope we can still get fans (cougar) coming through the turn stiles. People might think its a waste
of time and that the team are down already. I'm sure the lads out on the pitch will give 110% to keep us up.

Personnally i dont think we are that far behind a lot of the teams in the championship so lets get our climbing boots on and start the long hard trek to safety.

Like I said. let's look at the long game - accept we might go down, and look at bouncing straight back up. At least if we get relegated by less than nine points, we'll know we're up to the standard of the Championship. We need to really get behind the team, get some more supporters (bring a friend!) and try to convince the lads that Keighley IS a team worth sticking with, whatever happens at the end of the season.

From a Dons fan , good look for the season ahead . Hope you come out of this stronger as a club !

Thanks a lot Mr Spencer, I hope you're proud of the predicament you let the club get in to. I hope you're proud of the Everest like mountain you left Barry and the players to climb. I hope you're proud of leaving all those businesses that are out of pocket. I hope you're proud that that you've left so many Cougar fans disillusioned to the point that some have walked away from the club for good.

No one person, player, coach, owner or director is bigger or better than Keighley Cougars RLFC or their army of fans. You obviously think you are and have done massive damage to the club to satisfy your own over inflated perception of yourself. Go, just go and FFS at least apologise for what you've done.

OK!, so I was hoping for maybe -6 and -9 is now a huge blow, but I am so glad that we still have a pro rugby league club in Keighley, I wouldn't really want to have to switch to watching a different pro rugby league club when I am proud to be a Keighley man and want to support my own team, we do have a hard working young team who are starting to prove themselves at Championship level, they are capable of giving every team a game in this division and I'm not completely convinced that we can't manage to stop up in this division even with the points deduction, as for Spencer, why keep banging on!, the cold shoulder treatment is much more likely to have him turn his back and walk away from the club, so it may be best to stop giving him all the attention he so obviously craves
