mr. guess what, guess what? your opinion is of little if not no relevance to me and quite frankly have wasted my time. go away.
Quote ="Dominance"I cant recall ever saying our current players weren't good enough so I can see no reason why any of my comments would cause JD or the players an issue. Not that I need to justify my opinion however, just to enlighten you with my thought process:
2011 Squad (backs)
Belcher
Moss
Burton
Lawton
Duffy
James Haythornthwaite
Sagar
Baines
Lopag
Hutch
Sheldrake
2012 Squad (backs)
Moss
Duffy
Lawton
James H
Sagar
Barnett
Normington
From that I feel in a squad sense we look a little light in the backs. My opinion. As someone has pointed out, Jake is a dual reg and there is a possibility of him being unavailable for selection at certain times. I have played the game, but granted not at this level. You must know me to make that assumption? Have I upset you in a former life? Although, what that has got to do with anything I don't know. Maybe you see my opinion based on that as inferior to yours, or someone who has played the game. If that's the case then fine, but I still feel I have a right to an opinion.
I accept the 2011 squad is the one on paper and Baines was included due to him playing there a couple of times last season.
Even for someone having not played at this level, I understand the Champ is a step up in class and the need for a strong squad will be more important than last season. Also, players coming to the club, does not mean others are not good enough. Older, more experienced players bring on younger players, but I guess you'll know that already.'"
i do know that already yes. and out of all of the backs you named in 2011 how many of them were consistent ? better yet how many of them are still at the club ? i think jd has done a fantastic job of creating an outstanding squad. i see no reason in any more additions because the players we have retained and gained already will be a force to be reckoned with in the championship. as long as we have fans full support, not seem to be deeming the players we already have, not to be worthy of your clearly high expectations.
