A massive show of support for Ray Wilkins today. I don't expect Ancelotti to last very long now.

He missed a penalty for us when the score was 0-0. He didn't book Cattermole, despite constant fouling from him. He failed to send off Ivanovic when he probably should have done. He missed the clear foul on Cole before Cole set up the 3rd with his reckless pass.

But the result was 100% down to our dire performance.

It's possible that something very disruptive happened this week. But Ferreira in central defence and Zhirkov/Ramires in midfield was probably the real reason.

Sunderland's harrassment in defence would have probably shut out any side today. It was non-stop. Their attractive football going forward would have probably seen them beat most sides too. Obviously, the Sky boys were getting carried away as per usual, but today it was warranted, an absolutely perfect performance.
