| I remember Rico giving one of the loudest calls ever in a match with Jeff Hardy, shouting 'Damn it Jeff, come on!' when the Hardy boy was late for a spot.

Why? She might be getting to meet the right people easier than someone off the street, but I doubt she'll get an easy ride in the development territory. She's an attractive young lass and she's a 3rd generation wrestler.
Eddie's death was a tragedy but I think the cause was down to Eddie's self-destructive phase catching up with him rather than anything the WWE did.

I'm not blaming anyone in the WWE for Eddie's death.
Their actions since however, particularly when it comes to continuing to employ his widow who has absolutely no talent in any aspect of the business, smack of people trying to make up for something they perceive they might have done wrong.

She get's great heat. And as her character is a heel, that's surely a good thing. She's basically playing the Stephanie McMahon character from when it was all HHH and Steph all the time.
Remember those dark days? When the WWE champion was forced to take a back seat to both of them and was made to clean up dog poo? Is it any wonder Jericho has quit the company twice?

| Jericho's just having another break AFAIK, e.g. to do side-projects like tour with Fozzy. Back by the Rumble or Mania at the latest I would bet.

| Not the best Raw last night.
They set up matches for The Miz and Orton where both would face former World Champions.
Miz got Rey Mysterio. And Orton got......David Arquette
Oh, and after his absence of, oooh a good 5 minutes due to his sacking, Cena is now rehired.

| I at least expected them to go along with the Cena firing for a little longer than 3 weeks. Could have even used the Juan Cena gimmick on raw for a while. (similar to when they used Mr America on Hogan when he was supposed to be fired)
All in all Raw was poor last night and just seemed to be a filler show as they run out of ideas before TLC. One match was a double DQ and the Barrett count out was just lazy booking.

But it's the show before a PPV, the idea of that sort of show is to build final interest for the PPV. All in all it was a wasted show. Seems that the whole Slammy thing is just for the WWE writers to slap themselves on the back for coming up with stupid ideas

| Got the new PowerSlam magazine last night. Apparantly WWE are producing a 'Top 50 Superstars of All-Time' DVD. Don't know why they even bother with crap like this - it's so biased and false it's untrue, e.g. based on preference rather then reality. Hulk Hogan is still the biggest name (Superstar) in the history of pro-wrestling, and there will never be anyone bigger. Surprise surprise though on this DVD he is behind the likes of John Cena and HHH. As much as I love WWE they really are a joke sometimes.

| Those WWE DVD's are always revisionist histories.
If you're currently in favour at WWE hq then they'll make you look better than those who
aren't on happy terms.
On a sadder note, Juan Cena has been released by WWE according to John Cena's twitter.

| That's because the average age of the respondents to those sorts of online polls will probably be late teens to early 20s.
If you're 20 years old now, and let's say you've been watching (and remembering) wrestling for 10-15 years, what will you have seen of Hogan? The stiff, arthritic old guy with one catchphrase and two moves. Same goes for Flair.

The have the dvd as 'The 50 Greatest WWE Superstars of the Last 15 years'. Because WWE covers about what? 60-70 years of stars? Buddy Rogers, Bruno Sammartino et al were all potentially bigger 'Superstars' than say The Miz.

| my top 10 would be:
Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan
James E. Cornette
Sherri Martel
Fred Blassie
Mr. Fuji

Virgil
While i'm at it. Top 10 WWE Superstars:
Steve Austin
