I remember having a bet on Lewis Hamilton to win F1 title in his first season @ 25/1 came down to the last few races and looked like he had it in the bag, but I couldn't find the slip! after a week looking I found it of course he blew it and I wasn't an online punter at the time and didn't know about betfair etc so last out.

Worst result for me was a 5,000/1 accumulator i put on. Last 50p. 13 fold on the footie.

I'm pretty sure it was MK Dons that got a winner in the 96 minute but that didn't mean much as York drew 1-1 hving conceded the equaliser in the 86th minute. To say i was disappointed was an understatement and it still gets me down today

Best win I have seen is a double on 2 of Jedd O'Keeffe's horses, Arch Walker and Dubai Celbration, half of our cricket team was on it, both came in at 8's and 20's, cleaned the bookies out that day to the tune of about £20k between them all. Sadly, I didnt get on it!

Two more good and one more bad I can remember.

Picking four horses in the 2008 Grand National, and watching three of them get placed including the winner Comply Or Die. Had them all E/W, hadn't been betting on horses very long by this point so was absolutely chuffed.

Had a couple of pound e/w on Iris De Balme to win the 2008 Ayr National at 66/1. Picked another couple of horses out, all just small fun bets as we were at the meeting making a day of it. Iris De Balme ensured I went home well, well into profit.



Bad one I remembered today, lumping on Sariska in last years Yorkshire Oaks.

Very good race this and you could make a case for most of the field but like Cutlass Bay E/W who was unbeaten until that Curragh poor show when something was a miss, beat Cavalryman last year in a Group 2 then got an injury which ended its season and ruled it out for 11 months came by and beat two good types in Court Canibal an Celimene, then won a Group 1 win a clever win over Shalanaya with abit to spare who was 4 lengths behind Byword at Ascot, maybe it didn't go on the good to firm at Curragh so abit of rain might help, Godolphin have hit some form of late and Fallon who is getting his rides up lately has the spot.

Wire_85 has stole my thunder - great explanation of the reason why I'll be backing Cutlass Bay each-way and without the poor run last time out when he didn't appreciate the faster ground he'd be much shorter particularly given that both Chinchon (G1 winner since) and Celimene (close up in the GPD Deauville) in behind since, think at 33/1 there will be far far worse each-way bets but Byword for me will be my main win bet tomorrow.
