Rumours of a training ground bust up between Malouda and Domenech.

| Can't believe some of the players left out of the France squad, not to mention a few I expected to play tonight. Although they all seem to be at each others throats off the pitch.

| Ah well. Had a fiver on Pienaar and a fiver on Henry. Not the best start to my WC gambling.
I thought RSA played rather well once they got over their initial nerves, and in the end were unlucky not to win the match. I hope Mexico stay in the competition for a while because their goalkeeper is pure entertainment value.
France were as poor as I expected, no wonder so many people have said they don't think they'll progress.
Vuvuzela and Bafana Bafana - two cracking terms. I'm glad we're going to hear a lot more of them.

If Al Q'aeda, the Taliban, Iran or North Korea were smart they'd take a pop at tomorrow's game. Might as well hit two enemies with one stone.

| Tomorrow's bets:
Greece
Argentina
England
All to win. £5 @ 6/1
Also, with a free Ladbrokes bet, England to win 3-1, Rooney to score first, England HT, England FT, first goal in 38th minute - to win £10k.

| I rate Mexico and was a little disappointed with them. France just looked awful and if they get out of the group I will be shocked.
What a goal from SA, loving the vuvzela's!

| I missed the France game but looked on the teamsheet to see Govou. Was he as bad as he usually is?
France have a great pool of players to pick from, pretty much high quality players in every position with a few special players to make the difference. It's disturbing that Domenech has lasted so long, I really can't understand the French FA's reasons to defend having him as coach other than a Zidane-carried world cup final.

| Stadium looks half empty. Surely they could of sold off the seats cheap to the locals? Thought we would see sell outs throughout the tournament. Obviously not.

If somebody came up to you and said "do you want any tickets to go and see South Korea vs Greece for £10 (example)" would you say yes? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't, especially with all of those bloody horns

TBF if I can get any tickets at all in 2018, should we win the bid, I will be there. Be it England-Germany or Slovenia-North Korea. Would be brilliant just to take in the atmosphere.

| wouldnt be at all shocked to see uruguay and mexico go through from group a. seen nothing at all from france last night, they were a shambles, weird substitutions, players out of position and reported in-camp fighting.
seen in the paper yesterday someone has got 55k e/w on them to win the tournament at 20/1. to put that much on france to win the world cup would yield a return of roughly 1.5m apparently. if you can afford to have 55k on france in their current situation to win the world cup, then they must be significantly richer than the 1.5m winnings would make them anyway.

Utterly anonymous and only in the side because Malouda offered Domenech outside at a training session and was, unsurprisingly, dropped.
What that French side needs is an injection of flair. It needed a Nasri, a Ben Arfa or a Benzema to come off the bench. But that tit Domenech didn't pick any of them. The man's an árse.

| Did ITV not get Davids to do some sort of an interview before offering him a deal for the WC, Desailly is shocking but this is even worse so far. They are making Schmeichels efforts the other year look fantastic!!
Anyone remember Leonardo's stint for the BBC at the 2006 WC? He was superb, guess he doesn't need the work after getting paid off by AC at the end of the season.

The South Africans should have asked England how we managed to fill our stadiums for Euro 1996.

Credit to Adebayor last night but unfortunately his talking speed and level of English meant I struggled to understand him and had to really listen to what he was saying.

Oh, as I speak 2-0 South Korea.

It is, actually like Burley to be honest. He pulls no punches and usually calls it well too, much better than the usual idiots you get.
