That's quite possibly the best post I've ever seen on here.

I've got a mate that I went to University with who's a season ticket holder on the Kop. On the day of any game between United and Liverpool we could barely talk to each other. Away from that we had better, more sensible footballing conversations than we could have with any other supporter of any other club. One of them things.



In reverse, some of the cr*p you've come out with on here is amongst the worst I've ever seen. Who do you actually support? I'm thinking Leeds, but I could be wrong.

bit o/t but has anyone been on the old trafford stadium tour and museum? Going on saturday with young un for his birthday, Need help getting there fromtrain station and is there eating places around o.t

You've got it in one.

Get the tram mate, piece of pi$$. It's only a couple of quid return. There's the Old Trafford stop on the Altrincham line, which stops next to the cricket ground, then it's just a straight walk up the street. Or you can get off at Exchange Quay on the Eccles line. Old Trafford is to your left(ish) as you get off, but you can't miss it.

Get the Altrincham tram to Old Trafford. You'll see the cricket ground on the other side, go under the tunnel and out next to it then walk straight up that road. It's about 600 yards up, you'll see it eventually.

Food wise... A few chippies and a Wetherspoons on Chester Road (you'll cross that on the way down to the ground.) That's about it though, don't expect major cuisine. There is a cafe inside the ground by the entrance to the museum as well, but I've never used it so can't comment.

I remember catching that to the England-Macedonia game in 2006 I think it was. Never again.

They should have had a much greater return in recent years considering how far they have consistently progressed in the competition.

Tram to Old Trafford is probably your best bet, if I remember rightly the tram station is near the cricket ground but not far to walk.

The arrogance on other forums about Barelona not this one is a disgrace.

Go to Piccadilly trainstation run down stairs to trams get the tram to Old Trafford 5-10 minute walk to Old Trafford Stadium.
I went on the tour years ago i hope you enjoy it.

There's a whole section dedicated to the Treble - all 3 trophies (replicas, whatever).

Make sure you walk through the Munich Tunnel at some point (under the smallest stand). Awesome.

I hope he does get the ban overturned because it was very harsh but at the same time they should do it for Abidal aswell surely

Barcelona seem to have just taken it on the chin.

The clubs don't get to keep the real thing during the season anymore, after the presentation and what-have-you inside the ground, they get given a replica to bring home. That, along with the Premiership and World Club Championship Trophies is still on display. I believe you can have your photo taken with them if you really want.

I can understand that Liverpool fans have respect for the Manchester United club. I can understand that United fans have respect for the Liverpool club. What I don't understand is why so many United fans go out of their way to ki55 your so often. The achievements of LFC aren't your achievements, your posts aren't any different to thousands on here, but for some reason five United fans will go out of the way to compliment you on your posts and laugh loudly at your unfunniest jokes.

If you don't grudgingly respect our two title wins. If you don't grudgingly respect the fact we've just put you out of the CL two seasons in a row. If you don't grudgingly respect the fact we just made the "greatest attacking side in the world, ever" look very, very ordinary and deserved to appear in our second CL final then that obviously says far more about you than it does about CFC.
