I'm sure it is, but it's noticeable how he's suddenly started putting his oar in now Hodgson's been sacked. If anyone needed any confirmation that it was the right decision to get rid, Ferguson saying that Hodgson should have been given more time was it.

hmmmmm whilst I am sure he is conscious of locking horns with Dalglish again, and despite Hodgson being a friend of his, Fergie has gone on the record a million times in the past saying managers generally aren't given enough time, i expect Hodgson being given the boot by Liverpool after a few months comes under that banner too.

Despite the loathing of him from some quarters, he seems to be very highly respected and even liked by most members of the LMA and has been very vocal in his support of his peers generally in the past and condemned owners / directors who chop and change their managers every 5 minutes.

He'll always have one eye on what's happening at Liverpool, but i doubt he's ting himself about it right now.

Oh i agree totally, I know from experience, and anyone from on here who came into the show when we used to do touchline will know that the stuff that gets said off mic or during the ad breaks is done so because it's not stuff to go on air, 'banter', tittle tattle whatever. Had someone stuck that in the public domain we'd all have been in trouble.

There's stuff that has been said to me by women that if i was the sort to take offence would be construed as sexual harrassment, when i was first introduced to the regional MD of the first radio group i worked for the first thing she said to me was 'fancy a f*ck?, a bloke would be out on his ear for that - as I guess she would be i had been bothered (and no i didn't f*ck her or complain)
