I understand it's their job to talk up the title race and it's only a tongue an cheek comment, the thing I'd be most encouraged about if I were a LFC fan is how you've finished the season, we did it 2005/2006 and it put us in good nick for the following season, you seem to be blowing teams away although you won't always get the decisions.

I think it's finding the right balance that we struggled with during mid-season. Sometimes we've come out, tried to dictate the tempo without creating much, then allowed sides to settle in and defend for 90 minutes. The past few weeks we've not really allowed sides to settle, we've scored more in the first half (I think) and yesterday I thought our performance was very complete.

I know a lot of people whinge at Rafa about his rotation, but one of the main reasons he does it is to have a full strength squad, at peak fitness for the run-in, and whilst he's not rotated as much this year, our form of late shows that it works, I just think we lack one or two quality players to rotate.

I'd take Berbatov over Tevez any day. He offers Utd something different. He's not had the greatest first year, but plenty don't. Maybe with a pre-season he'll go better, last year, he spent at Tottenham, doing everything he could to get away from the club, and barely featured in any of the pre season games. He'll fit in better next year I think, understand his role better, and so will the team.

Tevez is exactly what somebody like Arsenal need really. Somebody, who when the game isn't going your way, will work his balls off to get the ball back etc. United have this already in Rooney & Flecther etc. Nasri was probably the only Arsenal player the other night attempting to do this, and that says it all really. He's not as gifted as Berbatov though, just works harder. If Arsenal had say Tevez & Adebayor up top, with Arshavin & Walscott from the flanks, that'd relegate Nasri & RVP to the benhcm and suddenly, they'd look alot stronger. Their options at present are Vela & Bendtner.
