| You would have got massive odds of this happening when he went on loan to the Championship at the start of the season. Seems a good guy and it’s a great story when a lot of fans wrote him off and probably the reason he got the vote ahead of French.

| I wasn’t on my own in wondering if we could move him on early in the season, to make way for a prop. At the time that seemed sensible and it now some like total insanity. He’s been absolutely fantastic and it’s really pleasing to see him getting these awards. He seems a really good lad.

| He's certainly come along way since the Toulouse away 'your sister is fit' performance.

| I remember I kept saying, “to be a good winger you need good carries, good under the high ball and good at finishing. Miski is only good at the first thing”
How wrong I was. He’s played brilliant.
Well deserved and a great surprise!
One more hatrick please

To be fair, there would've been plenty of people doubting his ability under the high ball after that first game against Toulouse!
Absolutely staggering progress.

Definitely. I thought he was excellent again on Saturday. He doesn't run the ball that often (basically because that isn't in the gameplan by the looks of things) but when he does, he's always a threat.
He should be following up that award with the Superleague award tomorrow night (even if Wilkin did actually let the words come out of his mouth on Sky that it should be Thewlis and if not him, then Nicholson deserves it).

| Both players an absolute credit to the Wigan jersey. I can offer no higher praise than that.
Congrats to both. Well deserved.

despite the frustration when he went to Wire would anyone now swap Nicholson for Nsemba

Very good question. I wouldn't say so on last season's evidence, but then again I imagine Junior would've found it easier to come into our team this year than Nicholson is finding it at Wire.
Despite how good our pack is looking for next year, I'm sure Nicholson is going to go on and have a great career and I still wish he was at Wigan.

No but I’d like them both tbh. Nicholson surely regrets that decision. I’m pretty confident he’d have got first crack at securing a spot this season in the absence of KPP and Isa and he’d likely be playing in a Grand Final on Saturday. They’ll be very different types of players in time Nicholson and Nsemba but both should have fantastic careers.

I've no doubt they'll both excel at Super League level at minimum. In Faz we've had the best all round back rower in the league for the last decade - huge work rate, basics to an unparalleled standard, and a top strike runner all in one. Nicolson will be a top player no doubt, but Nsemba 100% is more exciting (in the Betts / Hock mould). V's Salford a few weeks back he put on one of the biggest shots I've seen for ages from a kick off on Jack Ormondroyd...big lad already and seems to have the athleticism to go with it.
