Could very well have played his last game for us, only speculation on my part, if so a real shame for a great servant of the club.

11 seasons at Wigan, not many overseas players have done that long at one club.

Good servant to the club. Deservedly won the Harry Sunderland trophy in 2010. I do hope he calls it a day though. I worry about head knocks with him, he seems to have picked up quite a few during his career and sometimes played on when he didn't look right.

Lam says his injury takes him a week past the grand final so he ruled out for the season. I'd say he is very definitely ruled out then. We need a witch doctor to get him back in time for when our season will be over

With Field and Smith likely to be the half backs next season, surely the time has come for Tommy to retire from playing and concentrate on Coaching.

If he does retire, I'd love the club to give him & SOL a cameo appearance in preseason. It's tragic that both won't have had an official final game in front of fans.

If they club was smart, they'd hold it at Robin Park and kick off the celebrations for 150 years with a festival of rugby.

Sad news that his dad has been diagnosed with dementia.

Get him in a coaching role now I say! I remember us improving a lot when he came over mid season before his playing return.

I'd like to see Tommy go around again but in a player/coach role so that if we get short in the halves he can step in maybe we could/should have done something similar with Lockers
