| Great performance from the players and coaching staff.
Great to see some real threat on the right with big direct running from Greenwood.
Wood reminds me of Brown when he was at Wigan I just worry about his lack of pace other than that he looks very good.
I’ve been a big critic of Faz, I thought he was comfortably the best player on the field tonight. Outstanding.

| Great performance, well disciplined and we moved the ball about. Let's maintain it now, that's been the challenge, a glimpse of good rugby, then back to dour one out stuff. Let's keep it going.

| Really enjoyed that - well disciplined and skilful performance.
Woods' passing and kicking game was very impressive - shame he's not a bit quicker off the mark but maybe he can develop that in time. The dummy to the inside man before the shift wide for Marshall's 2nd try was outstanding and something I can't remember seeing before.

| A lot of people will point to Leeds being in awful form and having a few injuries (not half as many as McDermott and Sky would have you believe) but I think we would have beaten most teams tonight and hope we can kick in from here with a tough run of fixtures coming up.

| Can’t disagree with any comments, I think they’re all pretty spot on.
Great performance and hopefully we can kick on from here. 4pts behind Saints, 3pts in front of Cas.
What were we ever worried about?

I spotted that subtle dummy, not sure it actually sold the defender but it looked slick.

I'll enjoy watching that back on Wigan TV. After the last few weeks that game was a great one to get back to the DW with. As John said Faz was outstanding. I thought Tommy L was up for it as well and bar one of two the kicking game was top notch. Don't think we made that many errors either unlike Leeds.

| Only negative was that Escare's pace has literally fallen off a cliff (as discussed in a thread a few days ago). He looked like he was running in quicksand after the first 30 metres.

| Just look so much more comfortable at home.
Woods impressed, varied passing, took the line on for his try, inches off a 40/20 and FINALLY WE HAVE A PLAYER THAT CAN PUT UP A SPIRAL BOMB. Looked the dominant half compared to Powell
Greenwood looked decent considering he’s on been in th squad a few days. Much needed size in our pack.
Usual suspect we’re good. Bateman, Davies, Farrell.
Impressed with Naverrette and Hamlin ( imagine the depth in the forwards if we kept FPN and Joel.)
Leeds weren’t up to much though. Looked forward to sterner tests in the coming weeks.

| It’s a funny old game.
We played very well tonight, it was good to see a much more diciplined performance.
Several times offer the last couple of weeks I’ve watched a game and thought it’s just not our night, all the 50/50’s & the bounce of the ball went against us. Tonight was the polar opposite, I sat watching thinking it’s our night tonight.

Wonder if he's lacking confidence? Thought he could have scored himself at the end.

I’m not sure he has ever been that fast.
I think he has always had outstanding acceleration but I’ve never thought he was a real flier.

Just watched it back on Wigan TV and he slows up for no reason. The guy is closing on him ever so slightly but it looks like he could make it and it was the same at Cas last week and Hull the week before.
As you say it could well be confidence after he had that bad injury last year.

Critical from Hull KR away onwards I presume?
There is no way in the world the bloke could be criticised from before that very short blip because he’s having a fantastic season. He has a Rolls Royce of an engine and every time a big game comes round this bloke is at the very top of his game.
I honestly don’t believe I’ve seen a player as vastly underrated across the whole league as Liam Farrell before. He’s been in the first team since 2010 and his consistency has been astonishing for my money. I’ve given up on his quality being rocognised in terms of England selection on a regular basis but he’d be an 80 minute starter for me who we’d then build a pack around, allowing us to rotate the big guys like Sam Burgess and Lockers.

He's one of my favorite players for the reasons you say. Him and Bateman have a similar attitude and are both players who lead by example. Now back in 2017 things did not go so well for Faz. This seemed to coincide with something Wane said he wanted from him which was more aggression. All of a sudden he went from being what I'd call an elegant RL player to someone who decided he ought to put it about a bit more. Looked like he'd totally lost the plot as a result. He's now playing like he used to, to his strengths and he's back up there making his characteristic breaks.

Personally think he has been living off early promise for a good few years now.
Lacks size, good engine, gives away loads of unnecessary penalties.
Today was the best performance I’ve seen him have since he lost his place in the England team.

| Great all round performance with many players worthy of mention. Of the ones not already spoken about I thought Isa had a very effective game and both wings carried a threat again. The best I can say... and I mean this in the most positive way possible... Is that we were solid. Very few errors, great discipline and no discernible weak links.
Oh... And highly enjoyable yet again as many games at the DW have been this season.

This, great balance and quick off the mark with good feet. He isn't a length of the field man.

Each to their own but that amazes me.
Time and again on big games I’ve seen the guy rack up 30+ tackles and run the ball well in excess of 150m. He is going as hard at the end of the games as he is in the first minute.

| The only thing stopping Farrell being a regular England selection is his size as in height. Other than that I can’t see why he isn’t picked.
Quality player in all facets of the game, his worst season was by far 2017 due to the way SW wanted him to play which just wasn’t him but as someone else has stated he’s really found his old form this season.
Consistently good in all aspects of his game. Personally I think he’d be a bigger loss than Bateman.

Farrell is a cracking player and we probably wont realise how good he actually is until he calls it a day which hopefully is a good few years down the track.
His try last night was a little gem and made me jump out of my seat when he took the FB on and went round him. Gildart should ask him for a few tips on this

Now I know you like to use any stick to beat Sean wane with but I can't let this one pass.
Wasn't that from 2016/15?

| Sorry Jon but couldn't disagree more.
Maybe over the last 2 seasons he'd had a couple of blips but in the main he's been fantastic and up there with lockers as one of end names I'm most disappointed about when he's not playing.
Best part of 35/40 tackles and 20/25 hit ups every week. good try return and IMO nearly always plays well in big games.
When Farrell plays well, wigan do well.
