I've said it before and I'll again. Anyone who seriously believes that individual refs go into a game favouring one side or another is a complete f***wit who's views are not to be taken seriously.

If you really think that, why the hell do you bother following the sport?

I don't think any Wakefield fans are suggesting that we will lose Friday's game because of Child. Current form for both teams points to a very comfortable victory for your guys. Friday night games are always a bind to attend but with our Nemesis in charge we are unlikely to get any crumbs of comfort during a potentially torrid 80 minutes. The drive home will then be even more depressing.
We'll have to just look forward to our meet up at Wembley for which we've all had our "bus booked" for some time.

If you played games on Sunday rather than crazy M62 Friday nights that would help. Some of us live East Yorkshire way and it is a pain to make Friday night matches on your side of the hills.

Although I generally think you are correct, the number bizarre decisions that go in Wakefield's favour when Ben Thaler is the on-field or video-ref is quite alarming.

We did in the play off game 2004 a game incidentally decided on a poor referring decision. Loads of players missing and James Child Reffing has put a lot off going on Fri, I'll make the trip to cheer the young kids making their debuts.

I think most fans here think Childs is one of the poorest refs, to say the least. And I don't disagree. To suggest individual refs are bent, though, is daft.

You can't blame us really, sh!!te beer, stale pies, cars vandalism, the worst ref going who thinks we'll have trailed all that way just to watch him.

To be fair we have rarely taken many to Wigan (the usual thrashing doesn't help), saying that it was a poor turnout of
Wigan fans at BV earlier in the season.

With our injury list and the way Wigan are playing lately I can see a 30+ point thrashing for us.

We're only missing 8 on Friday and we've got Child/Childs/Child's (I've covered all bases there on the old I Phone)in our pocket so we'll be sweet.

Away crowds are down across the board to be fair. I'd say our average following over in Yorkshire has probably fallen from 1200-1500 to probably less then 1000. By the same token Wakeys in Lancashire has fallen from around 60 to 53. A devastating blow to clubs finances this side of the Pennines!!
