| What do people think will be our starting three quarters next year? Am i alone in thinking this could be the one area where we lack cover/quality?

| I'd expect Bowen at FB, then Charley, Goulding, Thornley and either Burgess or Manfredi for the 5 shirt. Thornley surely will get the 4 shirt.
We now have cover in that Sarginson has signed plus Clubb has played centre in the past. Those two plus Gelling I think gives us cover.

| The 1, 2 and 3 are sorted so its just the 4 and 5 shirts they'll need to decide on. I'd go Thornley and Burgess but I wouldn't be surprised to see Sarginson at centre with Thornley going to the wing.
At least we have options.

| Big season for Thornley,he did okay last year but I'm hoping for more this year.I could see Sarginson competing for his spot as well as Gelling.I think that Sarginson may get a few games at full back aswell but I'd like to see Wane give him a set position so he can grow into it.

| Rhodri Lloyd has had a few nice touches at centre today. At this moment all we have is options for 4 and 5:
Bowen
Charnley
Goulding
Thornley/Sarginson/Hughes/Lloyd/Gelling/Gildart
Burgess/Manfredi/Thornley/Gelling

| Whilst I would love for us to sign Hardaker and run him at centre, but whilst there seems to be plenty of smoke I doubt there is much fire to that rumour.
I do not think it would be ideal to move Thornley back to the wing, unless we sign a long term centre, like Hardaker for example.
Given out current squad Thornely must be one if the starting centres. He seemed to grow in confidence last year, and I expect to see him grow in size after a preseason in our club. He could well be the answer to that position long term, but I think he needs a strong start to the season as he seems to be the definition of a confidence player.

| Lloyd looks like a big strong lad who can time a pass. Not many of them in the British game.

He certainly doesn't need to grow in size, and if he was to move onto the wing i would say losing some size would benefit him.

| I expect:
1 Bowen
2 Charnley
3 Goulding
4 Thornley
5 Burgess
But it wouldn't surprise me to see a Gelling/Thornley combo on the left side for the WCC if Burgess doesn't nail pre-season
