| You could ask the same question about some of our current props couldn't you?
Mossop, Flower, Lauaki all defintely started in the back row. I'm sure Taylor played a bit of back row in his KR days and has spelled their for us at times. Burke is listed as a prop in some places and has been brough off the bench to cover in the front row at times, but primarily we see him as a back row forward.
Of the regulars, only Dudson and Crosby have consistently played prop since coming into the league.
Pettybourne will play prop for us, i'm sure of it.

| 90% of people who watch the NRL are saying he's average but we'll wait and see. There have been too many cases over the years were supposed NRL superstars have fallen flat on their faces and average joes haves been exceptional to buy in to any of that.
I'm pretty sure the club will have scouted this guy and got input from guys like his and our ex coach, Michael Maguire. If what they've heard is good enough for them its good enough for me.

| Eddy is an impact forward, he will give is something off the bench that we lack. All our props replace each other but offer not much different for the opposition to deal with. He is dynamic gets his nose through the line and finds his front.
What he offers over most impact forwards is good minutes on the field but also a very strong mobile defence.
He has not covered himself in glory at Wests but that is a club in turmoil at the moment, always impressed me at Souths, think he will go very well for us.

Wane refers to him as a middle unit. Thuis i think he will be a prop and hence why i asked the question.
I see the job Tuson is doing going to Sam Hopkins, Greg Burke or Jack hughes

Depends if Wane is in the job next year, and whether Pettybourne finds some form (he's not looking good at all atm).

| Played most of his games for Souths as a SR or stand in 13. Don't even know if I've ever seen him play for Wests (Who to be fair are in a total mess losing half the team to Sharks and then forcing Benji out to NZRU and turning superstar Adam Blair into an average forward).
He runs hard, seems to have more power and bite than most of our second rows. If he plays as well as he can I can see him starting in the SR.

| I think Pettybourne will be Tuson's replacement and Hopkins will be fighting it out with Dudson, Lauaki, Crosby etc for Mossop's current place.

| Hopkins has the 8 shirt but plays loose forward for Leigh.
Like Flower and Burke, Hopkins could play front and back row plus 13.
A very good option for a coach.
If rumours are to be believed and Joel is on his way back then we've some big men coming in next year.
I've thought for a while we've missed the Prescott and Hock's size from the squad.
Powell is here, Hopkins and Pettybourne have signed plus Joel. There's some real size there to match the biggest of packs in SL.

| Not a cat in hells chance Joel will be back before the Union World Cup in a couple of years so we can forget that before it's started.
I think we may well see him in a Wigan shirt again one day but not yet.
