Just as the Saints fans go on about knocking us out of the play-off's last year, now the Saints coach bangs on about it too. Well as I keep saying to the Saints fans, it's all well and good knocking us out of the play-off's but unless you go onto win the damn things it means very little. We knocked them out of last years CC and did go on to win it.



On a side note, Rush's monotonous drone of a voice pains me. I was unable to run on his interview in SL Extra Time this week and it was a long two minutes I'll tell ya.

He is one bitter horrible man. I have never seen such a sore loser as the way he conducted his interview after the good friday hammering we gave them

Wane is convincing when he talks about his dislike for St Helens and you believe he'll have the players reved up and chomping at the bit for Saturday.

As for Rush he bores me to death when he speaks and I can't take in anything he says. I'm sure Saints will come out and give it a real go on Saturday and they may win the game but I'm unconvinced much will be down to Rush.

Rush is just an idiot. There is a reason he needed someone to get sacked in order to get himself a head coaches job. He even said he didn't want to do it long term when he took over, he lacks confidence. We need an early lead to take into the changing rooms because this guy will crumble!

Indeed. He's a big unit and always seems to pose problems, even when the rest of the pack are beaten. Massive loss for Saints.

On a more positive note for the scousers, I see that Wilkin may miss out as well, which would be a bonus for them.

Let them worry about us, we just need to concentrate on our own game. At the moment our form is good, we've been killing games in the first half with an an overall average attack of 35 points. We have firepower all over the field and can strike from deep in our own half, can't say the same about Saints.

Keep the discipline up, the defence strong, a good kicking game deep in their half and hopefully restrict them to less than 16 and we should see this game out.

Oh and keep Hock fed on raw meat for the rest of the week.

Bring it on! Can't believe I'm on holiday though, camping too, so I won't even see it 'live' on TV. Will have to watch it late sunday night when I get back.

He does come across as a bit of a moaning git doesn't he. Thought this after our game and gave him the benefit of the doubt (sound like a video ref there!), but when he was moaning about the penalty count in the Wakefield game, going on about contacting Cummings I thought, God give it a rest man.

Have I missed something? What exactly has Rush done to upset you lot so much?
This isn't an attempt at trolling, I'm genuinely confused as to why you lot have taken such a dislike to him.

After watching Rush enjoying his time in the limelight following wins overs Wire and Rhinos he seemed like the man to take Saints forward. A loss against their biggest rivals and he could not even muster a "well done" he sulked and almost burst into tears. I would put KC in front of the cameras.

If I was the coach of a top team playing against one of the worst teams in the comp at home and getting hammered in the penalty count I would be more worried about my players performance than the refs. A poor attempt to put pressure on the ref for Saturday.

I think it mostly stems from his ungraciousness in his defeat against us. (His only one to date) Where instead of holding his hands up and admitting his team were outplayed on the day, he instead bemoaned one decision, Hock moving off the mark as the reason for defeat.

Fair do's he must have been severely disappointed, but perhaps he hasn't had that much exposure to the media to be able to bite his tongue and say well played to the opposition even if he doesn't mean it.

Fair enough. I haven't seen the interview because I never watch the games again when we lose.

I cant comment on his comments after the Good Friday game as I didn't see it. But in his defence, Alibert against Wakefield was shocking. He almost single-handedly ruined the game. I think Rush was right to comment on that, because he really was that bad. I'm not convinced his motives were to influence anything that goes on on Saturday.

If the team is struggling against Wakefield in the penalty count then I would be worried, I would have expected the better team to have the penalty count especially at home. That said Halibut can be difficult to understand
