We were the better team last night but came away with nothing. Warrington, i thought wernt at their best and neither were we but we should have won that game.

Im a Wane fan but im starting to feel like the jobs above him the more i think about things. Two games now theres been an interception and 6 points given away. The last tackle kick again was poor and our last tackle options on their line was bad. We could and should have had quite a few repeat sets last night but we gave away the chance.

A lot of work to do for Wane to get us upto the standard i think the team are caplable of.

I guess it's all about opinions, i thought apart from Lima our front row was poor Prescott may go in hard but he lost the ball(again) which resulted in a try, then Tommy was again looking one way and passing the other(it's on the back of a corn flakes box that Tommy) and gave it straight to Briers - a try again - and Sams break should have ended up under the sticks, frustrating night for Wigan speccies 2 players who stood out for me though was Hock and Farrell and Micky Mac did well, Eric's a no brainer and the rest pretty average.

If anyone remembers around the 20 minute mark we received a scrum about thirty out, only for Hock to lose the ball after a barnstorming run on the first tackle. Well that too was ripped out one on one in the tackle and fortunately for Wire when backwards once again.

Wire seemed to target the ball more that most do last night, and successfully. Odd how Wane should get the blame for bad passes tho, i don't quite understand that.

No, he defended very well and ran as hard as he could. I do have doubts about his size because quite often he's very ineffective running the ball, but his work rate, particularly his marker tackling, is exceptional.

I think we'll have to accept that against a solid line of defenders he won't make much ground, but if he was paired with someone who can punch holes in the defence it would make a very good pairing. For me, Prescott is the ideal player to partner Flower because he seems to be sending players flying when he runs the ball.

On 61 mins we should have gone for the two points instead of running it. that would have out us 22-18 up. We ran it and spilled the ball.

If we'd taken the 2 we'd have spilled the ball in our own half and they'd have scored. That's what happened previously, there's nothing to suggest it wouldn't have happened again. That's why field position was more important.

What do you expect when we play this 'brand' of British RL that shows no respect for the ball?

We're giving away penalties and missing tackles because of the way we defend. Our defence under Madge was all about technical dominance over the opposition. Three men into the tackle, bringing the man to the ground quickly, slowing the PTB down and allowing the defensive line to reset, but under Wane our defence seems to be ed on aggression, one-on-one marking, which is nowhere near as effective. We're also extremely vulnerable behind the ruck and two bottom sides in Widnes and London exposed that - very concerning.

Poor composure, bad decisions, bad discipline - poor RL. We try to score all the time on the last tackle play instead of building pressure and keeping composed. We've had the opposition intercept a pass & score in two consecutive weeks - unthinkable under Madge. The more offloads you make the more chances of an error the more errors you make the more opportunities for the opposition to score. The quality of RL at times was atrocious from both sides. Wigan kick out on the full and then Lee Briers can't find the touch with a penalty - horrendous schoolboy playground stuff.

Wane can make as many quips about Madge's methods as he wants, but it was damn effective & brought us success.
