Been the best fixture for last few years for me, even the games we [Wolfs

have lost have been cracking games, home, away and neutral.

The level of passion in this fixture has certainly gone up a few notches since the 2009 semi-final. It is a proper rivalry thesedays.

The level of passion has always been there, look for any game between the two sides on YT and there's all sorts going on, they seem to hate each other on the pitch. Big difference is we ain't crap anymore and are capable of beating anyone as are Wigan. The intense crowd may rub off on the players, i know Wigan see this as their 2nd Derby but it doesn't stop it being any less intense.

The Wire games are special nowadays. It's obviously down to the fact that both clubs are on a high as much as anything but still they're now great fixtures.

Sadly I feel Wire have the wood on us a touch. They've beaten us consistently for a good few years although we did take out the last important one. The Wire could really do with this being their year as it's hard to see guys like Morley, Briers and Hodgson having many more cracks at it.

This game will be the first of a few biggies this year between the 2 I reckon.

i love the wigan wire rivalry. creates a great game and a great atmosphere!

Wigan v Warrington has overtaken Wigan v Saints for me definately, the passion and rivalry is far stronger these days and that is reflected in the atmosphere, id rather lose to Saints than Warrington.

The Warrington games, to me, are on a par with Leeds games. There's a hot atmosphere and I don't like to lose, but I HATE losing to Saints.
