Well theirs two. St Helens Central and Junction.

Central is in the middle of town, right near the ground but you have to change via Wigan to get there.

Junction is about 8 mins taxi from the city centre but the trains from Manchester go straight to it. Means a taxi but a direct train will be far quicker.

Just checked, Lea Green is 2.4 miles away and Junction is 2.5 miles so both similar. It's just the train takes about 10 minutes less to Junction.
