The splash on the official site shows what appears to be the poster being used to advertise the Catalans home game, yet there is also a London Broncos player featured. Can only presume that they're gonna use the same poster to advertise the London game a few weeks later. If so, this seems a little bit half @rsed from the marketing team, as the 'European Invasion' tagline obviously becomes redundant. Hopefully this isn't the case as we've had some pretty decent posters advertising games in recent years and our marketing team has generally been top notch, would be disappointed to see our standards slipping in this regard.

Thought this when they used the same image on the TV's in the stadium on Saturday - they were advertising both fixtures under the "European Invasion" banner and, whilst strictly speaking correct, it did seem a bit tenuous.

Maybe we'll keep it for the rest of the season - it's never wrong.



They did the same with the Wane/Lauaki/Sam image and the "They're Back" title for the Huddersfield and Leeds games. In fact, the large posters around town are still up for the Hudds game now; the Leeds game didn't get the poster treatment.

How is classing London as a European Invasion correct? Has RL got that parochial we are now treating anything as non heartland M62 as being a European outsider?

I think its more they come up with a strapline to sell the next match, while showing the next team up in the background to try and retain interest for the next two games?

Think its more to show whats next up isnt it? ie/ after the catalans I would expect they would have a promotion poster with something like 'Capital Challenge' with a Broncos player in the foreground and a Wire where the current London player is now - to show they'll be next up after London?
