| Just wondering if tickets go on sale on the website or is it a turn up and pay at the gates job. I don't normally get to see games due to work and I am exited to see the new squad play.

Can't see it, at £15 a ticket, that is pretty ludicrous tbh, and Shaun Wane has already admitted it will be the kids who play. Even if it is Whelan setting the prices, people can't afford it, particularly when they will have to fork out the same price again to play Huddersfield a few weeks later.

Spot on they would have made more selling at £10

| Wigan fans don't half like a moan.
Saints are charging £18.50 to stand and £23.50 to sit for their Widnes friendly.
HKR are charging £10 to sit in an uncovered Golf Stand for the Wigan friendly.
Barrow are charging £10 to stand for the U20 Wigan friendly.
Leigh are charging £12 for the Wigan U20 friendly.
£15 and £5 concessions are reasonably priced for Lockers testimonial, especially as a percentage is going to charity.

Not a moan just dont see £15 for a pre season game attracting a big crowd on a thursday. And yes compared to them prices £15 is reasonable.
Dont see many on at them prices may be wrong!!

| £15 is hell alot of money in this day, they should charge what they where charging when he made his debut around £12 is enough/too much, will be surprised if they get more than 5000 for a game that means nothing at all, ok the money is going to charity but dont rip us fans off in the process.

| Are you being charged rent for this game or is Dave Whelan letting you use his stadium for free as its a testimonial match?

| Bit more than I was expecting but will be there as usual. All adds up when you've got 3 away firendlies close together as well, where you've got the travel costs and beer costs on top of ticket price. Suppose you don't have to drink but what would be the point in going ?
Think it will be a poor crowd which is a shame for such a good servant to the club. Crap night to have it and crap opposition who won't bring any fans or inspire home fans to help boost the gate/the funds but suppose it's better than nothing!

| I doubt it will be a poor crowd as after buying my ticket i went on to see what the next best available was and saw LL in East Stand (back row) and Row V in West (back row being CC) so basically its a near sellout in terms of the two stands id think.

| The East and West are unreserved so that will probably only show a generic seating plan with all the STH seats showing up as sold.

It's unreserved seating so the seat numbers don't have any relevance for this game, nor will there be a seat number printed on the tickets. Fair to say it isn't anywhere near a sellout(!) at the moment.

Far too early to get a realistic idea of the crowd to be honest, especially as pay on the day won't be an issue with it being unreserved seating.

The figures highlight the need to have other fund raising functions througout the year, the monies raised in these sort of fixtures does not do the players and their chosen charities justice. I had a chat with Eorl Crabtree just as his testimonial year was finishing and he said that it had been a struggle and some events did not generate the expected amounts.
