Interesting. Hopefully we will gain a lot from all these partnerships and hopefully Wales, Scorpians and Coventry will also gain a lot.

Glad Andy Coley will be involved with the club, it will be great to see him grow into a new role.

I know we have had recent success on the pitch and that has been superb, but I can't believe the amount of work going on off the pitch, there has been an endless list of projects, community schemes, cetral park etc. Great stuff! Lets hope it all translates into a bigger and better Wigan club.

Chuffed that Coles has been persuaded to stay in the game in some capacity. If anyone exemplifies what sheer hard work and perseverance can do, it's Andy Coley

He'd mentioned a few weeks back that his career as a qs was a no go as construction is dead, fantastic opportunity heading up the welsh operation. Great news for both clubs.

Regards NRL partnerships, did we set one up with St.George?

I believe it was meant to have been with Melbourne and then the Salary Cap issue came out.
Whether we go back to them, or go with Maguire's South's, or someone else not sure.

Seem's like we're busy enough doing what we're doing within the UK anyway for the next few years and may just leave it at that.

Maybe, I'm struggling to remember but I think IL may hav suggEsted we're working with St George, at the wcc dinner early last year.

Thought he had/has a job as a quantity surveyor or something? Anyway, glad he's stayed on. Is it a full time position?

He's a fully qualified quantity surveyor but maybe in the current economic climate the building industry doesn't have so many opportunities. Mind you one of my brothers-in-law is a quantity surveyor and he earns a pretty penny from the job. A few weeks back he went out and paid £6000 for a professional level Nikon digital slr outfit for for a holiday to Iceland. Me jealous, no....



I think Coley will do a good job for Wigan. He's obviously a bright lad given his qualifications and when you move into the back room after playing you need to have something more than just having been a very good player.
