I and another 10 of us are off this weekend to our capital city on the lash but really havent a clue wheres best for a good drinky pooh.
Any suggestions?
Every time ive been down London ive been stuck in one of the outer London districts, so really havent had much experience around Covent Garden, Soho, Leicester Sq etc... I dont want to be walking miles in between pubs and dont fancy having a bullet put through my temple.

No, we're stopping at the Travelodge just outside of Euston station. Thought it would be a good idea to use it as a central base.

Dunno about pubs, but there's a great curry place called the Woburn Tandoori about 2mins walk away.

Gotta agree with this... get the train up to Baker st folks, this is a great pub! ps look out for the scotland rl tops!

Yes, just wind' your way down to Baker Street, you'll be light in the head and dead on your feet by the time you get there !!!!

Covent garden and Leicester square are quite good for a few pubs close together for a drink at some point in the weekend. The Globe is a good pub for matchday though as its on a direct line into Wembley.

The Devonshire Arms and The Crown, both off Piccadilly Circus near the theatre, good cask ales at both.
