That hand-off, Deacon's try and Leuluai's hit on Harrison (I think) were the only highlights of the game.

I think Joel Tomkins knocked Briers flying at one point. That was a highlight too. Not many to choose from though.

Powerful fends are often as much about the poor technique of the tackler as they are the strength in the arm.

Riley ran into that one from Lockers like he had a death wish. Also, whichever doorstop-brained Yorkshire journalist who voted Danny McGuire for the Lance Todd must have been queuing at the bar when Joel Tomkins scored. That was one of the most pathetic attempts at a try-saving tackle I've ever seen.

The best hand off I can recall was Paul Anderson on Gary Connoly when scoring a try for Saints against Leeds.

That's the one that came to my mind after seeing Lockers' try.

Bradford v Leeds when Anderson was at Bradford IIRC.

Mathers' and McGoldrick's effort on Tom Briscoe was a shambles.

I don't think he could believe his luck when both tacklers just fell off him. McGoldrick did a spot on impersonation of a turnstile while Mathers just sort of fell onto his face.

It's on the 'Big hits and tries' video for round 26 for anyone who didn't see it.

Best hand-off(s) I've seen was Tuigamala playing for us in the Rah Rah 7s. He played with (I think) a Leicester player about three or four times swotting him off like a fly before a final whammo! on his way to a try. It's on that video sharing website I'm really not allowed to mention anymore.

They would have to improve 50% to reach 'shambles' !!!!

The ukrugbyleague channel on YouTube has them all.

The most impressive hand off I've ever seen was by Ellery, playing for GB against France at Central Park. A French prop came across to tackle him, Ellery handed him off and the prop was out cold for two or three minutes. Nothing dirty, just a combination of attempt at a hard tackle and a very powerful hand off. I think Ellery scored under the posts. Very impressive! I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of Ellery if things ever got nasty!

Leuluai has to be the hardest hitting tackler for his size and weight in SL. He goes in like a torpedo. Especially when he hammered Fassavalu a few years ago.

I think Riley had given up on making the tackle as the Wigan player was at least 3 yards in front of the kicker and he had lost concentration due to having nothing to do for the previous 75 minutes.
