Just watched the team leaving for Wembley on Granada Reports and noticed the players tunnel adorned with the same images of Wigan Rugby greats that are in the Grand Arcade walk.
question, do they cover these images up or remove them when the tics are at home?

The boards are interchangeable. Not sure if they are reversable. They are changed when latics are at home. They are impressive tho

did the stadium tour last year, the walls are basically blank. For Warriors games, the whole lot is Warriorised, and for Latics games its Laticsised.

And the Cherry & White coloured "THIS IS WIGAN" on the exit to the pitch is also removed for latics!

They don't remove the Latics ones for our games.

Yes they do ! My friend was there last week during the game and all the warriors pics and boards were up and not a sign of a latic !!

Each club has their own boards which are changed for either game, so your right they do.

Must be act as a great source of inspiration before a game.What "legends" or moments of glory can the latics put on a board? genuinely can't think of any.

Thats just a permanent photo frame they also keep the rugby ones up when Latics play.

Yes Latics do have legends, players who played for them for 10 years + when they were the top dogs in non-league. Harry Lyon, Sutherland, Gillibrand, etc. Unfortunately these names mean nothing to the current day players who only play for them as a stepping stone to better things.

Exactly latics problem. Dw runs it for money making not passion. He sees a signing as a profit opportunity get a year or two of play then sell them on at a profit (fee wise) thing he doesn't realize is that if he had them signing better players to stay and win things then people would pay more to see them. He doesn't have what most prem teams have where they can rely on a large amount of die Hards no matter how they play as those fans are rugby fans or have supported united since being kids. Sooner they get decent players and keep them the sooner they can start being better respected by the football elite. Shame he's tight really. Thank god he doesn't own us anymore!
