Does anyone know if there is anywhere showing LIVE tv coverage on the 4th June for us poor souls who can't make it to the south of France.

No. I actually was going to put up a thread about it but was waiting for confirmation on BBC Radio Coverage. Ah well, here goes........

The match is not being televised live by local Orange Sports TV in France. That means anyone hoping to watch the game back here in Wigan (like has been done in the past) won't have the option to do so. The TV broadcaster over there has changed since 2008 (the last time we played there without Sky coverage) and they only show the games now on Sunday Morning Tape Delay.

So because their is no live tv coverage in France, in return it means their will be zero chance of their being illegal streams of our game. So it's pointless asking and pointless looking.

Now normally Sky would show about 40 minutes of highlights from all games in France during their match replay programmes on a Saturday Night BUT the night we play, their isn't a live Sky match (it's a Sunday Night Sky game that weekend).

So your first chance to view highlights will be on the Super League Show on the Sunday at 3:25pm, whilst Sky will show 40 minutes of highlights later that night at approx 11:50pm in the replay of the Huddersfield v Castleford match.

I'm informed that Wish FM will not be traveling out to cover the match because it's pretty expensive for them when they cannot even be assured to have normal quality broadcast facilities. I know for a fact (I listened it) that when BBC Humberside covered Hull's game their last month they had Craig Murdock commentating via telephone!

It isn't listed yet but I assume BBC Manchester will go out and cover the game.

But we needn't worry too much 'cos Bilko will put an extra £10 credit on his phone and text his updates to Twitter as he usually does, thus keeping us all who're in-need, up-to-date!

Im going over for the game but didnt think bbc manchester would turn down a nice weekend away in the south of france, phil kinsella used to post on here so he will know.

no surprise radio manchester (or is it radio wigan) are covering it.who knows you might even get commentary while its wigan on.which is more than can be said when other teams are playing,commentary non existant,just non relevant dross.

As ive been mentioned in this thread , i can confirm Jack is heading out to Montpellier for the game , and providing everything works then commentary will be on BBC Radio Manchester from 5pm on saturday night

Even then everyone thought it was canal+ rather than sport+ and hardly any bugger had that channel.

Hopefully now the German footie has finished and Handball, Orange will show a few games live. Thats what they did last year.
